The problem with early immigration of professionals was that it left their home country with the dregs, so they could refine their criminal behaviours further. Meanwhile those who did integrate into their destination country ended up taking away the professional experience and learning which the local population would have otherwise gained. So they came in, did the work, paid taxes and the locals were employed by the ever increasing big government. Then the next generation has no one to learn from, because the immigrants who integrated still maintain contact with their home country and will hire new immigrants instead of locals of the country them integrated into. The government can only grow so much before it gets too big, and now you have unemployed locals who are told to educate themselves more for jobs that don't exist.
With higher education, some of them start businesses and outsource the production to cheap labour countries instead, bypassing the professionals that were imported to their own country (who wouldn't hire them or their kids). Now there aren't any productive jobs left, only retail, management and welfare. The offspring of the immigrant workers as well as the locals are now unemployed, and that's when racism enters the stage. That's were we are currently.
