I know that example from Britain and how the racist narrative sounds online, but I can't personally relate to it. There are these anecdotal cases referred to constantly, but then the cognitive dissonance strikes again when the same people who complain about immigrants not being convicted, bring up statistics which show that they are overrepresented in crime statistics, which proves that the % of reported crimes and convictions are higher than for locals. So which is it? They get away with crimes, or they commit more crimes based on police statistics?

This is how I feel about Russians. It's again one of these strange cognitive dissonances where people on one hand say Russia is so bad at warfare, their equipment is crap and they can't do anything, but at the same time they are the greatest threat to the world order since WW2 and all of the west has to unite to stand up against them. Which is it? Are they weak or are they a threat?
My personal experience is that Russians are rather timid and friendly, and their women are more feminine and open than western women, who are hostile and cold (probably because of how men here behave?). When our politicians talk about how afraid they are of Russia, it sounds like talking about how you have to arm yourself to protect against the rabbits attacking you from the roadside. It only happens in Monty Python and they should be ashamed to present this as real. It feels more like it's their badly hidden sadism and predatory mentality surfacing, they see Russia as weak and like a rapist seeing a lone boy on the street they instantly want to abuse him. Then when called out, they start deflecting: but he attacked me first! I had to rape him in self defense. You're not a homophobe, are you?
