> Because they can for 10 min seem to overpower me
So would it be different if they could do it for 10 years instead? 100 years? 1,000?
> because you're talking about something completely different
I'm talking about the same thing, from a different perspective.
> Maybe you'll be reborn again in a situation where you are not provided any means for spiritual development
Doesn't work like that. Life isn't a dice-roll. Everything happens for a reason, you won't just get 'unlucky' and get reincarnated as a rock for no reason. Existence, in this particular reality or others, is itself the primary means for spiritual development. And what do you think you'll begin developing towards if you adopt the practice of submitting to evil men out of fear? What is the meaning of that action?
> at least I was right when I died
Yes. Because this means that your Will is in accordance with Truth. This is very very important. It is the most important thing. It's like in 1984, where O'Brien thinks that if he tortures someone until they believe that 4 is 5, that this means that Big Brother has dominion over reality. It doesn't. 5 is still 5. The chocolate rations have still been cut even if you brainwash the people into acting like they haven't. The power of Truth always supersedes coercion. It is transcendent. That is what is important. Transcendent Truth, above the machinations of temporal manifestation. If the price for your continued incarnation is rebuking a Transcendent Truth out of fear, then your continued existence has not made you better. It has made you lesser.
