That is true. I remember getting burned so many fucking times by people just because I didn't headcanon Gloom as a half blood and how I was "ruining her character" and other shit. Which is ridiculous cause when you think about it, nobody ever really gives Gloom an actual character. They either pottray her as borderline mentally unstable, unable to function without Lyle by her side, or as an emo big titted Mabel Pines (I really hate how people don't ever have her express any emotions besides happiness and hornyness. Just like how Lupa always has to be a pessimist/bitch that barely anyone would tolerate if she was a real person). To say she has to be a Loud is ridiculous. Really, most of the half bloods don't have to be half bloods. I've always stood on that and will continue to no matter how much backlash I got.

It's weird that even back then, Cleo wasn't really considered part of Lyra's friend group. Instead, she was friends with Lupa, which I always found stupid. Up until now, the only fics that has Cleo and Lyra interacting as friends were lewd fics that used the Cleo is adopted headcanon.

I'm like so close to writing something where that guy is a creepy uncle or something, mostly to see if it would get a reaction out of him (assuming he reads it). AO3 feels like a bigger retard daycare than FFN nowadays. Flagg was an absolute piece of shit that to this day, I still regret commissioning him fics to write instead of writing them myself.
