Talking about dialing it back to one pairing and one abomination, I'm tempted to invest something serious into the roadie idea.

> Stays around Royal Woods for a few years until Lincoln turns 18.
> The two immediately leave Royal Woods together, with Lincoln being a roadie for the Moon Goats.

Or maybe have Lyra born later. Like Luna drops by Royal Woods when Lincoln's 16 or 17. Gives more time for Lincoln to be involved in Lyra's baby years.
