and that is sort of a big dilemma you left us in. Many of us have been in /ttg/ since its inception 7 years ago. This is our home so to speak of, the only group of friends many of us have. We're used to being hated and spammed and whatever but you've really struck us at the core.
Not so much losing the threads and images - that we've dealt with many times. As long as anons stick around the worthwhile content is reposted, even ancient archives appear every once in a while.

But you created an unprecedented uncertainty.
Back on /wsg/ we were modded by 4chan mods who didn't care for us at all and constantly deleted our general rather than cleaning up spam. Since they didn't care, they were trustworthy.
When we were banned for good and an anon suggested going to 2chen org we could trust it as well because the admin only ran it for his kpop general and had no relation to tiktok. Many anons hated liveposting and we probably lost half our posters in that move.
2chen org went down with no explanation and less than 24 hours notice. Eventually an unknown ttg anon set up 2chen moe and everything seemed to go on as usual. But in the beginning we felt very uneasy about having one of our own, possibly someone we accused of being a schizo many times before, see our post history and mod us. moemin was very secretive however, which helped a lot, and over time proved neutral and reasonable and added stuff like the popular files on the front page.
The transition to sturdy was a lot more rough. Moemin gave longer notice but then reneged on it and shut down early. No clear successor. Eventually moemin 'vouched' for sturdychan by redirecting 2chen moe to sturdy if I recall, but splinter chans remained until very recently.

Now we have the next vacuum but the well is poisoned and we can trust no one. Admin says you were a member of an r4 clique. You say admin is leaking post history. You proved that you are willing and capable to infiltrate leadership. You are also capable of running a chan yourself. Sturdychan ran quite well for 3 years and admins last words come down to DONT TRUST EASYCHAN.

It's not clear to me how much more /ttg/ can survive. Even if easychan works out the next time this happens everyone will say this is a power grab by sico, or the powers that be decided to kill us for good. We can never recover from this history because it actually happened before.

I get that you feel sturdy was run badly because there was no wizard behind the scenes coordinating a complex ballet of moving parts, but just an unemployed leech with a receding hairline pulling dead squirrels out of the rusty gears.
This is what we all expected and we would have rather not known.
The important part is having someone actually do the fucking job.
You have no idea how much worse it can be.
