I do not use easychan myself as it isn’t my kind of environment t. kiwifarmer but one thing to consider with it is the fact at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who runs it. “i don’t want it ran by sketchy people!” as shown sturdychan admin was sketchy “what if our private information leaks!” as shown sturdychan admin leaked private information, and even so who cares about a group of guys on a anonymous image board + use a vpn lol. in these spaces no matter where you go there is a risk of bad actors. look at Meta and the leno situation. or the constant swaps in soyjak moderation. just post wherever the community fits you best and wherever you like the UI. im sick of this moralfag conversation of “but what if its ran by X” who cares. if youre main point is to just post tiktoks of girls (it’s /ttg/ after all) then the person behind the screen doesn’t matter. i also believed this for sturdychan but its gone now and so be it. i wasnt planning to post there again after the first announcement saying admin would be taking the site offline as i don’t like people going back on their word.
