when people make videos, the algo assumes the video will be in the niche that the person uploading it themselves enjoys watching.
basically, if your algo is cosplay stuff and you upload a tok on your account with no followers, it will likely be sent to people with a similar algo to yours, coupled with whatever tags you use and what the algo analyses as what your video is about
