> Joy is doing great work, it'S impressive.
[Joy] thank you, it's my first time too.
[Ashley] I love Joy as DM, I totally didn't expect her to go so easy on us.
> Best would be to set the ground as zero and label all main structures with + or -ft
[Joy] I thought about that and almost did it but ran out of time. I might color code one by topography.
> Emboldening Bond is a bit of a problem because Cat and Ashley have to be 30ft of one another.
[Ashley] um, it won't help me because I don't have offensive spells, and in case you didn't know, I'm a pacifist, lol. I don't want blood on my hands, my babies do it for me. I will only be able to physically attack through my summons and panther form, but I won't go full unconscious nudist in the city as a result, no thanks.
[Ashley] As for cantrips, I don't have the info on me, but NAUSEA is an eye contact thing that probably won't help even if I get it on the rothe, he's not eating.
[Ashley] I can cast my UNDEAD WASP, and maybe do 1 damage. I don't know if the rothe is intelligent enough to be bothered by DAMPENED SPIRIT. Other than that I'm completely useless if Herbie and Derbie's dear undead lives are taken tragically. I'm barely better than Alice... ugg even in Panther form, I'm so low level I would still be one-shotted. And now I'm unconscious at best as a "wild dark violet panther" which the guards might try and perform a death blow on me.
[Ashley] Buuuut, I was thinking, if I am a Panther, and the rothe is only able to attack directly forward, the DMG says I can "grapple" or "climb" on the back of the rothe and bite repeatedly (piercing damage). He could try to shake me off though but that will take one of his turns.
[Ashley] BTW, Cat, the rothe has resistance to slashing so your claws won't be as effective.
[Ashley] okok, so I'll try it if you want me to Yulya, but when my panther self tries to go take a nap, put a blanket on me or something and guard me for an hour.
> Last question, if things don't work out and I have to get closer and onto the green arc, do I have to pass a test to climb the wall?
[Joy] you can climb at 15ft per turn, so that will count as half speed and doesn't stack with dash like it would with Cat. I expect Cat can dash up a wall, but other humanoids would only climb. If the wall is roughly 5ft tall, then that counts as 10ft of normal movement or 20ft of dash. So you could move a total of 40ft dashing and 5ft climbing with no further action or 20ft moving and 5 ft climbing with the action.
