I didn't want to spoil Ashley's surprise but if adventurers like Brutus and others have scars, there must be a reason and this is the reason: they healed a critical wound without first treating the wound with a healer's kit. In SheShe's run, it's any cut.

Only for deep wounds caused by critical hits with slashing or piercing affects.

So it is helpful and worth having even if situational. Again, see the above, I can handle the useage assuming you are out of combat anyone and in combat you since you're holding it and should hold it so make room. It can go on your belt since it has its own pouch.

What does a scar do?

On a roll if there is a 16 or higher once the wound is healed one or both of the following effects may result: permanent-1 charisma, 1 level of discomfort due to persistent pain.

> absolutely the same!

So you didn't know that I spent thousands of hours playing Rimworld with hundreds of mods and your DM has thought of everything to maximize immersion. Yes it's ok for all but critical hits.

You don't have to do anything explicitly as I said, I will handle it, but it would be wise to have on you as a passive ward (I'll make sure you use it.)

> should give it to our frontline fighters Alice or Cat so they can stabilize someone when Yulya is too far away

This is another great idea and something you could consider for in combat. Stabilize will work with a healer's kit given no proficiency but anyone can stabilize already with a roll but a healer's kit doesn't require a roll. I am also removing the penalty of "expending" the kit on use. In this run it has near countless uses not one.

So outside of combat, you are assumed to have access to it in most cases even if it's not on you and just avoid healing to full anyone with a deep wound without whoever's holding it being within 5ft of the victim.

> that does take a lot of pressure off Yulya because she doesnt have to rush to the frontlines to stabilize someone! so thx a lot!

Yes so even in vanilla it has a use and I'm not concerned with proficiency of the kit. There is a bonus though that anyone who uses the kit in this run can gain proficiency if the choose when they level up.

> awkward as fuck but we have to give that gift to another party member.

Now that you know, you can keep it or give it to someone else, Ashley won't mind as she is clear on the idea that giving anything to any of you is like giving something for use with the group.
