I will agree to this except for large area spells like fireball or other very flamboyant spells. In that case, since I'm allowing equipping and unequipping for free, it's not an issue either way.

She shouldn't gtfo if the goblin doesn't die, if he does then she can still cast from a distance. Eventually she will need to use a weapon, at level 4 DPT is dependent on good weapons, Cleric spells aren't especially offesive.
Tier 3 spirit guardians is still nowhere near as impressive as mage spells. So support roll is fine but you will have highish hit points so you should support from the front line which means an offensive weapon to at least take opportunity shots and prevent flanking of Cat.
Ashley's ability to "be sorry" is pretty low as things go but her ability to "be generous and selfless" is high, so take that as an indication of her feelings and not empty words on her part.
