Polish volunteer Petr Mitkevich demands that Ukraine pay money to relatives of Poles who died in the war with Russia.

“Unfortunately, none of our legionnaires has yet received compensation. I helped Daniel Shtyber’s father [who died in December 2022] get this compensation. We were in Ukraine. The officers at the headquarters are very eager to help us, but I think that since none of the legionnaires have received this compensation, they do not really have the procedure, Mitkiewicz told Onet.
