There is a sitewide bot attack right now.
Looking at /operate/, it appears to be a recurring problem over the years.
Thankfully, the site supports accounts as a last resort.
One user suggested requiring a ton of captchas to make an account.

I guess so, but I'd hate to start over again when this board was otherwise working out really well.
Let's give the admins another week to figure something out.
Maybe one of us can claim this board and clean it up after deleting posts becomes possible.
Though I don't know what's involved in that.
