Donnie Darko was produced by Flower Films and premiered on January 19, 2001.
It's about a world ending the day before Halloween.
It takes place in the town of Middlesex, across October, before the 1988 election.
Much of the film revolves around Donnie's Jesuit school.

Donnie meets Frank after being guided, sleepwalking, to a golf course.
Frank says:
> 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, 12 seconds - that is when the world will end.
