Meta discussions of the board go here.
Yes, that was me.
> You've just set up shop here? I don't remember End having /ancap/
Yeah, I made this board recently.
It seems both an ancap board an a offshoot of 8chan's dommer have decided to try to set up shop here. Of the active boards that I know of is /Librejp/- the most active. /kc/ and /AM/ and /pol/ and a desolate and loney /b/ being right behind it, and a tiny but unusually well organized /pone/ board for some reason are the ones that I see get postings daily or near daily anyway.
I wish this place the best, have a carrot and remember that some of the extreme here may not take kindly to you. Hope this place gets established.
board is slow but I want an IB to discuss ancap, ;_;
you stupid niggers aren't dying on me, let the snek roam free
Talking about politics means nothing, just a way of coping with utter defeat. LONG LIVE TO PIRACY
In a free country, you are the one who is responsible if your life is a mess.
In a police state, you can blame the government if your life has been destroyed.
Ancoms are fucking retards. Anarcho-communism is an oxymoron!
I wonder why anarchist terminology is such a mess
No one cares about the big picture.
Americans used to be outraged about Bruce Jenner, Greta Thunberg, Kavanaugh, Rittenhouse, statues, Epstein, Smollett, and George Floyd.
Now Americans have lost their minds about Biden, but no one cares that the US is a bankrupt warmongering police state.
I haven't decided what voluntarism I'd go for but the problem is the same for ancaps.
What do other than settling on an island or maybe a giant plateau or wherever that has impenetrable enough natural barriers and is so far removed from any civilization that the logistic costs of waging war would be too high for any organized state? I mean until we get Tesla Death Rays for every household.
Okay, it's a bit different with local warlords (maybe I'm missing something here but I honestly can't imagine it turning out any other way) but problem of already existing imperialistic powers remains.
Lets say u made an ancap country. Yes, the borders would be open and any1 could technically come inside and destroy everything. But lets say there's a big company in ur ancap country that constantly makes deals with the US. That company helps USA's economy, do u rly think they would attack ur ancap country when its existence helps the US? (I keep using USA as an example but rly it could be with any country).
Economic relationships didn't stop WW1. I mean it's always a good idea to have another layer of protection in form of financial losses on part of the assailant but if it's the only card they have that ancap territory (can ancaps even form countries?) could simply get subjugated in one way or another and provide the service at terms primarily beneficial to the stronger partner, most likely having to surrender some freedoms as well.
There isn't exactly much land that doesn't have some state's claim on it. Getting an entire existing state to go full anarchy is a tad unrealistic. You can convince a local population but seceding will, even if done peacefully, destabilize the area and is going to hard to legitimize. Not that nothing even remotely similar was ever achieved eg. Switzerland but there's enough to suggest they had Templar military and monetary support and those were simpler times.
The very same Americans who scream that they hate the police state then turn around and support the police.
Which crypto have u gotten into? For me its
Currently the only 1 I have is litecoin. I'm currently mining some litecoins with an online litecoin mining service. I plan on getting into bitcoin some time later.
How does crypto work? I've been interested in it but I don't really know why you need a graphics card... Is it even worth it to get into it now?
U need a program 2 "mine" bitcoins. Basically, ur computer waits 4 some1 2 do a bitcoin transaction, then, it needs 2 do this extremely long math equation. If ur computer does the math equation b4 any1 else, u get rewarded with a bitcoin. The bigger the graphics card, the bigger are ur chances 4 ur computer 2 do the math equation b4 any1 else. That's the basic way 2 explain it. If u don't have a good computer, what some ppl do is buy bitcoins with money, wait 4 the value 2 rise up and then sell them. Of course, this was a bad idea, as the price kept going up and down and caused the pink wojak's from 4/biz/ 2 happen. Alternatively, u could also use a "bitcoin mining service". Basically, u buy a plan, and for 1 year, u get 2 use some1 else's high power computer 2 mine the bitcoins 4 u. Only problem is they take a percentage of ur bitcoins.
> Is it even worth it to get into it now?
YES! Crypto is basically money that the government hasn't gotten his hands in2 yet. So no matter how much crypto u have, u don't need 2 pay any taxes!
thanks for the explanation
Americans scream tyranny is wonderful because the US has always been a police state, but what if the USA used to have freedom and lost it?
Even if the US never had freedom, does that mean liberty is bad?
Did the USA have curfews, NSA wiretapping, checkpoints, forfeiture, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, torture, kill lists, no fly lists, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA, TSA groping, secret FISA courts, redlight cameras, license plate readers, and Jade Helm in 1980?
Did Americans need a pilot license in 1920 to fly a plane?
Did Americans have gun bans, business licenses, Social Security numbers, sales, income, or property taxes in 1890?
Were drugs, alcohol, smoking, gambling, and prostitution illegal in 1880?
I found this recent archive which says that lib right is mostly promoted and influenced by jewry. After reading a bit I found that they actually pick on people's greed to make freer yet more unstable societies...
what do you think about this? Is it ok to be ancap or could some minarchy, some night-watchman state be used to carry out these same ideas without bringing so muhc misbalance?
The world used to be divided between the free West and the unfree East. Later only the USA was a free country. Now half of the US hates freedom. Soon just Southern New Hampshire will be free. Later the Libertarians will need to buy a sailboat to be free or flee and scatter to the Sahara, Siberia, and the Amazon and wait to be hunted down by tyrannical Nazis and Commies.
Not trying to shit on anyone here, just genuinely curious. What exactly would stop something like this from happening?
i was ygg posting :
For the better. That will help with imageboard addiction.
If such thing happens, it's just the ruler being hypocrite or minarchist. And me, being minarchist would only take taxes from bussiness leader thta currently have employees or someone who needed a public service in cases of urgency
> anon needs surgery
> the minarchy inmediately pays for it, since they own the money, the most powerful media and technologies
> anon is taxed by paying the loan to the state as long as he has a job
> if he cannot find a job, the state gets him into a labour camp for non-convicted individuals
> when the debt ceases, anon returns to being untaxed
This is disgusting, even if he was properly informed and signed consent to such treatment. Which may be not an option, like lying in coma after car accident.
One of the problems with tyranny is that it increases.
Americans born today think torture, kill lists, groping, and wiretapping are perfectly acceptable.
There was a time when you didn't need a driver license. Later driver licenses were required. Driver licenses then needed a photo. Later you needed a written exam. A driving test was then required. Later you needed a medical test. A car inspection was required. Later you needed liability insurance. Driver license fees increased and fingerprints were required. Soon DNA samples, microchip implants, and vaccines will be needed to get a license.
Can someone explain this site to me? I really like it so far. I just need help getting around and knowing what stuff is
It's like 4chan but not nearly as active and people can make their own boards. If u click on /overboard/ u can look at threads from every board.
Welcome! Its nice 2 see a new face around here. If u have any ancap friends, let them know about this place.
Hey, owner. Did the people move is it just thast /ancap/ has a slow rhythm?
Americans say that force is the only answer to every issue.
Those who hate coffee might not care if coffee is banned, but do you think that outlawing coffee might eventually lead to banning something you do like?
Do Americans know that the USA is not a democracy and all laws and taxes now are not legitimate?
Do Americans realize that outlawing coffee might have unintended consequences?
Would banning coffee hurt the economy when coffee companies close and fire workers?
Would criminalizing coffee lead to higher taxes to pay for prisons for coffee customers?
What is wrong with choice?
What if coffee reduces cancer or increases memory?
Couldn't those who hate coffee voluntarily boycott coffee businesses?
Do Americans realize that the USA used to be a free country?
Do Americans who hate freedom feel like traitors?
Do Americans know that tyranny killed millions of people in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Cambodia?
Do Americans realize that the globalists are using the police state to cull off the 99%?
Why not move 2 Liberland?
I would love 2 but it's currently impossible. The micronation is facing troubles with Croatia and Serbia who claim that Liberland is there illegally (even though the land that Liberland is using is unclaimed). The Serbian police is constantly on the borders of Liberland and attempt 2 arrest any1 who enters it (the president of Liberland has actually been arrested a few times like this). Until the whole BS with Croatia and Serbia is resolved, moving 2 Liberland is impossible.
Tyranny leads to anarchy.
The world will soon go full Mad Max.
Obeying the law is easy when only murder and theft are illegal, but no can obey the law if everything is illegal.
What can you do when fireworks are illegal, but firecrackers are mandatory?
Who will enforce the law when the government cannot pay the Gestapo?
Who will enforce the law when the Gestapo are abolished?
Why would cops defend the state when the Gestapo must wear masks and get dangerous vaccines?
