Part of building the Alt-Net involves leveraging the available tools and services on the Legacy Internet. This includes online tools, downloadable freeware and downloadable "freeware". This thread is a repository of various freely available tools & services both online and offline. Once I get enough content in this thread I'll make a tagged database of them.

If you are an intermediate C++ developer or better, then my imageboard archiver/downloader might be of interest to you. You have to be able to manage installing prerequisite dependencies and have at least a C++17 compiler, but if you can this is probably already the single most efficient IB-oriented scraper out there, even though it's still just alpha code.

I'm afraid I haven't compiled from source before. It's one of those things I've been meaning to learn at some point, but I imagine it's not too hard.

Anyway is it GUI or command-line?

It's GUI-only atm. In the future I plan to expand it to more features and will write a GUI for it then. But for now I have other things I want to prioritize first like multi-threaded simultaneous downloads.

duh. i meant Terminal-only. GUI will come later when I re-release the thing as BumpMaster and post it on an official repo somewhere.
