Nagoya Basho starts on Sunday!
Onosato's debut as yokozuna!
If I have to guess it will be either about the two yokozunas' competing with each other or the three sekiwake's ozeki run, all three has at least 10 points, Wakatakakage got a very good 12-3 and considering his form he might have the best chance to continue on.
Kotozakura is a weak ozeki right now. Had a 5-10, then two 8-7 which barely saved his chops. I assume his weak performance is the result of some injury or illness.
I wish Takayasu good luck for the tournament, but I don't expect him to get a real good result, we could probably be glad with a positive balance.
I support OHO on. Let's go big lad!
Now the green Aonishiki is quite up there, #1M, we'll see if he can get into the sanyaku ranks. I'm sure he can.
Lower I bet Takerufuji and Atamifuji are both eager to correct their previous points, I expect some good wins from them. Hakuoho is climbing, Win/Losebozan is a question, Midorifuji is way back.
Kusano debut in Makuuchi! And Wakaikari too who changed his shikona to Fujinokawa.
Shishi was bumped back to the last place #17. He really has to try to stay in.
Juryo.
Top three are regular makuuchi guys, getting old I guess. But they aren't that old yet.
Not sure whom to point out to watch out for. They seem all meh.
But below in Makushita, there is Asanoyama at #1 west, climbing back steadily, no brainer he'll beat all like carrot, he is strong and talented. However this ex-ozeki is getting old too (31), so despite he'll back in juryo next time, and will have a relatively easy time there, I don't expect him to return to sanyaku ranks, too many young talents.
Enho is somewhere further down. #16. Takes too long to get back. I fear we'll never see him again in juryo.
