Thanks for making this thread. I tried making one yesterday but I kept getting the File not Found error.

For the sake of consistency, let's stay with 300x100. The files also have to be &lt200KB, so  >>/6/ is a no go. It doesn't say .gif files aren't supported, so we should be good.

While we're doing banners, we may as well try and get a custom spoiler too. Dimensions are 100x100. Image size isn't specified, but an image at 100x100 won't be too big anyway.

So I tried to use Renge since it seems like she might become end/a/'s mascot. I made 2 versions, so just use whichever you think looks better or you can use one of the ones  >>/145/ posted if you think they look better.

Also, for any more banners that I make should I start thinking about using the omega sign since it seems like that may become endchan's logo, or should I hold off on using the omega symbol in case things change.

I doubt the omega symbol will change, even if they change mascots. Feel free to include it in future banners. (but just in-case, it wouldn't hurt to keep the project files and replace the logo should it change in the future).

Things happening on other boards is none of my concern, and people shouldn't be bringing what's happening on other boards into /a/ (unless maybe it's some kind of site-wide 'event' that happens from time to time). I'm sure if something major happens regarding the site there will be some kind of site-wide announcement, like how 8chan does things.
