It would now be the 3rd year since we moved to 8chan.moe and it only took less than a year to turn the place into reddit thanks to the new BO. I don't think it's worth celebrating but worth mentioning. That place was kept active and alive by at most 3-10 anons on a good day during the first few years. It's a reminder that even with a small community. When there's decent quality, discussions and content, it's enough to keep a place active. I'm not giving up on the idea on making this a temp home and setting up a site for us. I'm not going to let the idea of diapering board-tans, shitposting and the other shit that made julay/8chan.moe fun die out.

On a related note, looking for opinions on what imageboard software you anons would prefer? We have lynxchan and vichan to choose from since those two seem to be the most popular. I already found a hosting provider and a domain registrar that accepts crypto so it this point I just need to start messing around with the IB software on a local machine.

Well I'm out of ideas for advertising this place to get more anons on board.  Sneakily advertising this place on moe hasn't brought any users nor has advertising it on exhentai. The good news is that I have a working vichan instance on one of my local machines. It wasn't too bad once I got the configuration files, file permissions and mysql issues worked out. The next step is getting the cheapest VPS host + domain registrar and start playing with the web server and networking parts.

God, BO is such a fucking tryhard and desperately hates .moe's BO for no reason.

There's still activity at .moe but your drama, amd some faggot being faggots, caused some contributors to post less. You're killing the community but it's obvious you love the chans, so why?

If you put a tenth of the effort you've put into this board contributing to .moe, it'd probably be the board you want it to be.

We got lucky on that part since 8chan.moe is delisted by Google. The rest of the search engines don't reflect that.

Seems that most VPNs are blocked here. Don't know if it's enough to dissuade anons to post here but that and the loli cunny ban makes me uncertain about being too well established here even if it's temporary. I don't want anons putting this much effort only for the admins to have policy changes that affect some threads or this board. Probably best that anons don't overdo it with content posting. I tried re-asking anoncafe and zchan if they would reconsider welcoming us since 3 years have passed but it's still a no so we're stuck here as those are the only two IBs in the webring welcoming refugee boards.

I'm envious of how many talented artists /tkr/ seems to have. Nice that they're keeping the board-tan thing alive because it seems /abdl/ interest in it as died off
