And so the difference between whore, hoe, and slut has become muddied in recent years (since all women seem to dance between them). And although many use them interchangably for comedic purposes aswell I think there is still a difference. What you speak of migh be a hoe/slut. I would argue hoes are women who are too eager to have sex with other men (for personal pleasure), sluts have sex to gain attention and status, and whores have sex in direct exchange for money, goods, or services. If she were to give herself in direct exchange for drugs she is by definition a whore. I think the person used the word hoe playfully, likely because she probably fufilled all these categories in her life.
She had sex with multitudes of men at her school and work (HOE), she flaunted herself on the internet for attention and status (as evidenced by the above picture)(SLUT), and in the end she sold herself for drugs (WHORE). She fell down the rabbit hole of whoredom step by step, and played every role of the undersirable woman.
