All these things were just online, Ciara and Sunny never met irl or anything. Sunny would stay with her mother in Kansas for the summer, I think that's where she was when she first started posting on r9k in 2017 and began getting involved in those things. Then back to her Dad's in LA in August, but then she decided she wanted to live with her mother full-time, so she moved back to Kansas permanently at the beginning of 2018. Her mother was less strict and didn't give as much oversight as her father, that's likely in large part what motivated her move. Once she moved in with her mother everything escalated, she began sending Sosa nudes regularly and started heavily using drugs (etizolam) that he bought her.

A complete lore would be helpful for new friends, but there's just way too much stuff to neatly summarize it and this was all mostly 8+ years ago at this point. The broad outline the anon posted was mostly correct but there's a lot of detail necessarily left out. I'm not sure it's possible to get a complete picture or a full understanding in retrospect, it's one of those things where you kind of just had to be there.
