One middle aged sheila was in there, doing her best eye contact and firm handshake routine, asking about a job there.
That left a queue of three customers ahead of me with the other mong on the cash register.
First one was wanting advice on some bullshit.
Second one was buying 3D printer noodle and wouldn't shut the fuck up about it.
Third (good) one just bought an item and left as quickly as possible.
I hard part numbers written down for everything I bought, except a couple of heat sinks. Despite telling him the style (TO-220) and size, he couldn't find it on their computer. The other one comes back from the job woman and starts telling him it's a TO-3 heatsink, despite my protests. Eventually I went and got the plastic container off the shelf.
I can't win. If I put in a click and collect order, they pick the wrong components or miss one and staple the bag up so I can't check it. If I do my own picking they can't identify half the shit or find it on their computer.

I watched The World is not Enough (1999).
Another okay one. Nothing special but the time didn't drag like it did with a few of those Roger Moore ones.
Denise Richards looking very attractive in a Lara Croft type outfit. She played a physicist but the only science she looked like she knew was the properties of silicone.

Does anyone else live in one of these houses where if you boil the kettle while the electric heater is on the safety switch shuts your power off and you have to go outside and switch it back on?

 >>/1017642/
When I was a young NEET and ignorant of things I thought my fuse box was inside the garage and tried turning the power on from there but it turned out that box was just the automatic sprinkler controls and the fuse box was outside.

 >>/1017644/
> ceramic fuses
I had those once. I overloaded it in winter and the wire didn't break, instead the electricity routed itself around and all the heat went into the ceramic which melted.
The backing of the meter box was made of wood as well. The electrician said I was lucky it didn't catch fire.

There was one stupid bitch at Internode who kept plugging in a bar radiator under her desk first thing in the morning and taking out a circuit. You'd reset it and tell her not to plug the thing in, and five minutes later it would trip again. Ended up telling her to fuck off after about the third time and they had to call maintenance to find out how to get power back to their part of the floor.

In the last two weeks I've had a paver here for 2 days, plumbers out twice to fix the hot water and replace taps and the RE inspection yesterday.
Bloody glad it's all over now that was too many intruders.

> AI Overview
> You are completely right to feel disappointed by the Suimin K-Pow Flaming Chicken noodles, as many reviewers agree they taste like a cheap knock-off of Buldak with half the flavour. When a brand relies purely on capsicum extract to deliver an aggressive, one-dimensional burn, it completely overpowers the subtle chicken and soy notes, leaving you with nothing but heat.

 >>/1017742/
I have a slow cooker, sue veed, pressure cooker, food processor, wand blender, toastie toastie, sandwich press, coffee machine, snosaj roll maker, toaster, kettle, air fryer, mike. Probably other things. Dont use the sausage roll maker or the sue veed.

 >>/1017756/
My approach is not even banning because everyone ban evades anyway. Just keeping the threads clean so we can still discuss things.
I feel like igay might actually be one of the good NEETs who just for some reason spams to piss off nuro perhaps so it's not like I can ban their alter ego

 >>/1017755/
I bought an expensive all stainless steel kettle. It is holding up well.
Those plastic ones are poisonous. The toxins, chemicals and microplastics.

> on the stove
You are better off doing that but pouring hot water out of a saucepan can be messy, dangerous and imprecise.

 >>/1017762/
Mine would have to be 15 or so. Got a spare in a box in the cupboard, which Motherbat would have bought in preparation.
The only thing I worry about is that one day I'll go to pick the freshly boiled kettle up and the bottom will fall out or something.

 >>/1017783/
When I do schnitty from scratch, I use my electric fry pan with a bottle of oil in it and let it sit flat out for about 15 minutes until my infrared thermometer gun shows the surface has stopped increasing in temp. Then it's just a minute or so each side and done.

 >>/1017809/
yeah, no way those cheap appliances are doing any sort of proper temperature regulation
mend it mark pulled apart an expensive toaster the other month, and the circuit boards looked like some shit i'd knock out at the kitchen table after sixteen beers

Two days I poured out three 500g bags of dry pasta in the backyard garden bed.
They were a temptation to my diet. Just empty carbs.
Anyway, today all the pasta is gone. I don't know what took it or ate it.

The stinging nettles are the most resistant to the weed killer.
I sprayed three weeks ago and they are still standing. The grasses and other weeds are all collapsed, brown and dead.
They are mocking me.

I like these types of joges.
We call angle grinder as corner grinder which allows two jokes. Firstly: I can't even reach into the corner. The second is from the fact that we call heel as "corner".
There are others but explaining untranslatable wordplays is not that big of a fun.

I had some deep fried chips yesterday from the local fish and chippery. I dropped one of them on a referral form I have for a test for heart disease. The saturated fat from the chip turned part of the form transparent.

Adelaide Council have sent me a parking "expiation notice" with a photo of a car which is not mine, parked in a place I have never parked.
The photo was taken at night. I believe the error has happened because they have interpreted a 0 on the numberplate as an 8.
The car in the photo is a different make and model to mine.
I went to their online review process and they have a finite list of reasons you can ask for a review and there is no "other" option so I basically can't use the online portal.
I am going to have to handwrite one and post it to them.
What a pain in the arse. Fuck these dogs.

> tfw mum still thinks Centrelink is "just until u find a job" but it's been 4 years 😎

spent all night on /b/, slept through the day, smashed 3 packets of Mi Goreng and half a 2L LA Ice.

life is good lads.

I think that cortisol spike has caused this headache I have now.
I have been terrorised by faceless bureaucrats handing out false parking fines.
I bet it was AI that read the number plate wrong. A toaster spiked my cortisol.

when weber hits the jackpot on the machines he is gonna fund the neet commune in some shithole third world cunt tree and we will live like kings with 5 brown bitches each to suck our cocks and make us tendies

Am. Only have coke as fizzy left and that keeps me up so might be enough. Only a few shots, with not enough pasito, and now thats gone. And 10 cones. Pipe tastes wet and resiny. Thinking about taking two or so fortes and putting on some history with cy, or something similar. Get sumerian tablets translated and read to me.
Had to look it up, think I meant Ashurbanipal's stuff. Same thing.
Too choofd to be coherent.
Type Ashurbanipal library building burnt, preseved clay tablets short version into chat gpt

The Library of Ashurbanipal was preserved because it burned. When the palace at Library of Ashurbanipal was destroyed around 612 BCE, the intense fire baked many of its clay tablets like pottery. This made them much harder and more durable, allowing thousands of cuneiform tablets to survive for over 2,600 years until archaeologists uncovered them. Some tablets were still damaged or lost, but the fire unintentionally helped preserve many of them.

AI deserves our jobs.

Fished unpacking the groceries.
It's miserable outside, so will do some lectronics today.
Got some apricot crowns for mording tea.

Hope you got some salad mix for the yiros.
I had two salad sandwiches last night for tea. Surprisingly very good. Just aldi helgas type fancy home brand white bread, with mayo on both slices, cos leaves shredded, stuck to it, tomato, masterfoods avocado smash spice mix, salt and pepper.
Then had two packets of chips (double crunch chicken, aoili air fries), two strawberry kiplings (not as good s lemon), a violet crumble (its different now, lighter) .. I'm sure there was more.
The spice mix is really good, just average all purpose garlic, paprika etc but has a hint of cumin. Its pretty subtle. Most things that have cumin are overpowering and I dont like it, but this one is good.

I drove out to post that letter asking the council for a review of my parking fine.
I have put the fine letter they sent me away in a drawer now. I want to forget about it to avoid further cortisol spikes.
The dogs.

I get one of the clients yo fo my yard. He leaves bits everywhere and forgets something every time. Asked twice if he could come today, both times I said it was raining. Last time t ook three visits, because he forgot the lawnmower one visit then I think it was raining. Just likes holding the whipper snipper.

I wrote an anonymous imageboard in 1994 using Perl CGI.. Basically a place to upload images, generate thumbnails, and add them to a chrono-listed index, with commenting and all that.. I didn't take it live because of lack of good ideas to preserve identity of the OP, plus the hosting and copyright hassles...

Your own house is not included, stocks go into the asset test along with cash etc, interest goes into income. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/income-and-assets-tests-for-jobseeker-payment?context=51411

Your payment may go down the more money you have in the bank, I'm sure there must be an onlne calculator somewhere to work it out.
As a dsp neet I can have up to the 333,000 limit but the interest will count as income. I recieved almost 9k in interest last year and my payment didn't change

 >>/1018392/
> the interest will count as income
I think they use something called "deeming" so interest gets counted at a lower rate than what you actually get. Even if you get 5% interest paid to you they only count it at the "deeming rate" which is 2% or something like that.
I think.

I read that gnomes in old d&d were meant to be jews.
It makes sense kinda, they are like weak dwarves without the honour and toughness but with the greed and gold lust.
And they get a huge bonus to cast any illusion spells.

 >>/1018431/
I wear fancy button-on ones with my suits that way, but my every day suspennders I wear over a singlet but under my tshirt and hoodie, so they are mostly invisible.
That means if you are taking a shit you need to basically undress.
Also if you catch one of the snaps, you have to either undress or root around for ten minutes trying to find the lose end and reattach it.

When the Lonestar opened up at Munno Para, I texted Bill the night before he was due and told him to only have a light breakfast because I was taking him there for lunch.
Instead of ordering a steak or ribs or anything one might ordinarily eat at such an establishment, he deliberated between a chicken parmi and a beef ragu, eventually settling on the ragu.

the main bedroom hasn't had blinds for over 18 months now, as dickhead started sanding the window frames and then never came back
motherbat has been banging on about security and getting robbed because the wiindows have just had sheets and now butchers paper on the glass

I watched "Die Another Day'' (2002).
A ridiculous plot, an invisible car, absurd action set-pieces. Awful CGI.
That does it for the Pierce Brosnan era. He was my least favourite Bond so far. He lacked charm. Too short and dark.
Daniel Craig era next.

Back from markets. Banana and beirsticks. No chili ones this time.
Fix captcha
4 choofs and a stando.
Gad a very large sausage roll. It wasnt long, but seemed like almost all meat, and a coffee.

This Mingle spicy capsicum & fetta dip with Peckish golden honey and soy rice crackers was nice but inappropriately spicy, self respecting white people shouldn't be consuming spicy foods like this so overall I am rather upset with this meal

I have opened the census letter. I'm going to do it.
After how badly my cortisol was spiked when I got that false parking fine I have realised I am not strong enough to withstand the cortisol spiking that would come from being hounded and threatened by the authorities for not doing the census.

I was not strong enough. I'm sorry.
