We were going to throw a huge part with our money. But as always, something goes wrong with the party:
> The phone rings. You pick it up. "This Mr. Harris at the Civic Auditorium," a voice says. "I'm afraid I have bad news."
> "What's the problem?" you ask. "You don't have enough ice buckets to hold 20,000 tons of ice?"
> "No," he answers. "Fm afraid it's a bit more serious than that. I'm afraid we have is a bit of a conflict. You won't be able to use the Civic Auditorium after all."
> "What? What?" you scream, losing your cool. "The party is in two days!!"
> "I'm so sorry," Mr. Harris says quietly. "But we realized yesterday that we had rented the auditorium for that day for the all-city string quintet try outs. They reserved months ago, so we have to honor their reservation."
> ''What am I supposed to do?" you cry.
> But he has hung up.
> You realize there are only two other places where you could hold such a large party. At the speedway, where the stock-car races are held. Or at the municipal park in the center of town. The park is free, which is a real disadvantage. You had hoped to spend a lot of your money renting the space for the party. The speedway is very rundown.
> Which will it be?

> The speedway? Turn to PAGE 66.
> The park? Turn to PAGE 11.
Which will it be neets?

> You rush down to the speedway to talk with the manager. With the party just two days away, you've got to find a place to hold it fast!
> The stock car races are in progress, a dozen cars roaring around the track. You find the manager in the pit. He's a short, stocky guy with a stubby black mustache that looks as if it was glued under his nose.
> "I need to talk to you about renting the speedway," you tell him.
> "What?" he cries, trying to hear you over the roar of the racing cars.
> "I'm giving a party for the whole town. want to rent the speedway."
> "What?"
> "Is the speedway for rent?"
> "You what? You want to place a bet?" he asks. "There's no betting here. Scram!"
> "Not bet. Rent. RENT!" you scream.
> "Listen, I can't hear you. I got earplugs my ears because of the noise!" he screams.
> "Why don't you write me a letter?" He turns back to watch the cars.
> It looks as if you'll just have to hold your the free park. Maybe party in the park

> you'll think of another way you can spend the money that would have gone for rent.
> Turn to PAGE 11.
Even with a million dollars, life's not fair!

> The party isn't supposed to start until noon, but people begin arriving at eight in the morning. It's a windy, gray day. You peer out of the communications tent you set up and hope that it doesn't rain.
> Bands begin to play. People are taking tickets for the lottery of the thousand Cadillac door prizes. Hundreds of helium balloons float over the park, bright colors against the darkening sky.
> "Won't be much fun if it rains," Uncle Clyde says, his usual cheerful self.
> The phone rings. He picks it up for you. He talks for a while, then comes over to see you. "Bad news," he says, shaking his head.
> What could go wrong now?

> Turn to PAGE 39.
We will have to find out

> "Problem with the pizza," Uncle Clyde says mysteriously. He hands you the phone.
> The woman's voice at the other end is shaky and apologetic. "I'm so sorry," she says, "but we'e made a little mistake with the pizzas. We sent them to the wrong town."
> You are too stunned to talk.
> "Hello? Hello?" she says. "We must have a bad connection. Anyway, the pizza was sent 300 miles to the south to a little town called Prairieville. I don't know what they're going to do with enough pizza for 60,000 people. But they're stuck with it."
> "But what about me?" you cry. "What am I supposed to do?"
> "Don't worry," the woman says. "You'll receive a full refund. You'll get all your money back!"
> Turn to PAGE 91.
How fucking hard can it be to get rid of $1 million dollars?

> "Getting mighty windy out there, " Uncle Clyde says cheerfully when you get off the phone. You stare out of the tent at the huge crowd filling the park. You don't know how you're going to announce to them that there won't be any food at this party!
> "It's goin' to rain before you know it," Uncle Clyde says. "Better get the entertainment on early."
> The entertainment! Right! Good idea. Now which entertainment did you finally decide on for this party? The Broadway play with the original Broadway cast?...Or the three-ring circus?

> The Broadway play? Turn to PAGE 79.
> The circus? Turn to PAGE 60.
If cruisey were here we'd have to sit through a marathon of woody allan broadway plays. Which entertainment did we book neets?

I think today is going to be my last "style" cut.
From here on out I will just get buzz cuts.
There is too much grey in it now and I think I am norwooding. The bit at the front in the middle stands out too much now. The sides are receeding.
It is all over.

We'll have to continue our millionaire adventures tomorrow neets. Interestingly the author, RL Stine, is now worth over $200 million. I wonder if he ever gives people $1 million just to see if they can actually spend it.

Someone I met has done a lot of motorcycle camping, and gave me a list of Murray River campsites 'no-one ever goes too'. I have checked out a few already, and they were all occupied.

And only a few nights ago it was 14C around here, so i could sleep in the light synthetic sleeping bag for the first time in months. But it looks like 5C overnight now.

Good night NEETs.
I don't think I will be able to sleep through the night. I ate too much salt in my binge and have had to drink too much water.
I will need to get up in a few hours for a toilet break.

Doctor jeet was very angry today.
Noooo you can't just eat 30 veal steaks with sage butter, charred asparagus and tomato. Not a real diet, not possible.
Saar you can't be drinking, how much one barrel wine. Saaaarrr not possible cannot be drinking 15L wine. Brandy also, no. Not possible saaarrr.
