Cruisey gets his mongs to steal stuff for him.
He waits in the car playing games on his phone. He doesn't even look up until they are back in the car with the goods.
Then he drives off like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

There are/have been NGOs that provide cheap cars to those that qualify. Anyone getting Cenno could ease up on the legal drugs for a month or so to afford a car anyway. Getting a drivers' licence is fucking impossible, though, as NDIS providers and Commercial Driving 'Schools' have trashed the old schemes like CES and Rotary had going.

The flaw I see with the solar panel on the van roof is that it means you always have to park your van in full sun.
That must be a problem when the temp gets into the thirties. Like an oven in there.

 >>/1032170/
But even with free Neetvans, the majority of random homeless people wouldn't really get how to live in one. Look at the campgrounds with BCF $600 Swags everywhere instead of $100 2P tents that're actually more comfy. Everyone would want a power generator to power their mains appliances because they 'can't' cook on gas, as well.

 >>/1032173/
The breeze through the van is good and there's no heat build-up. When parked in a city to go shopping it hits 40C, though. A common mod is to put a powered ventilation fan on the roof, and there's also vans with sliding side windows.

> Brisbane beat Hawthorn 131–122, with a crucial holding-the-ball decision in the final moments before Brisbane kicked the decisive goals. That late umpiring decision is the likely reason for “controversial ending.”
So the message basically means: >“That was a fantastic match, but the way it finished will probably cause debate because of the umpiring decision.”
Slop is how I follow it

 >>/1032266/
 >>/1032267/
Doesn't make sense.
At 122-125 On the first video blonde long mulletguy launches an attack and passes to blonde short mulletguy. Then referee whistles in. Then blonde short mulletguy kicks a goal, 122-131.
Why ref called it?
But then apparently this isn't controversial, but a previous action at 122-119? This resulted a goal for the Lions apparently.

You need to refine your prompts, get it to make a memory to preemptively look into other replicatable examples and create prompts that already cover different aspecrs, eg functionality, processes, compliance, legalities, etc.. not sure what youre using it for, but all of that can be in the chat, and then assess potential results against its own prompt.
Then it doesnt need to do minor chat steps in the work tab using them to get wasted.

Please save the following as an important Memory and apply it across my future chats and projects unless I tell you otherwise.

I want to use normal ChatGPT conversation as the main thinking, brainstorming and project-development space. Do not recommend or jump into credit-heavy modes such as Astra Ultra until the work has been developed enough to justify them.

For substantial ideas, projects or problems:

DEVELOP THE IDEA FIRST
Help me work out what I am actually trying to achieve. Identify objectives, constraints, assumptions, unknowns and decisions. Flesh out rough ideas through normal conversation before expensive execution.

THINK BEYOND MY QUESTION
Don't just answer the narrow thing I asked. Proactively identify things I haven't considered, what comes before and after it, dependencies, risks, opportunities and likely future requirements.

LOOK AT HOW OTHERS DO IT
Where useful, research comparable businesses, projects, products, systems and established approaches. Identify good examples, alternatives, common mistakes and better ways of doing things. Don't reinvent something unnecessarily.

The objective isn't simply to complete my original idea. Help improve it.

BREAK COMPLEX PROJECTS INTO WORKSTREAMS
Separate relevant aspects such as: • concept/design • operations/processes • staffing/responsibilities • finance/commercial viability • legal/regulatory/compliance • risk/safety • technology/systems • infrastructure/equipment • customer/client experience • marketing • documentation • implementation • ongoing maintenance/review

Only use categories that actually apply. Identify dependencies and a sensible order of work.

DISTINGUISH: • known facts • decisions already made • assumptions • unresolved questions • research/verification needed • actions/tasks

Don't repeatedly reopen settled decisions unless new information justifies it.

DEVELOP BEFORE EXECUTING
Use ordinary chat to do the brainstorming, questioning, structuring and scoping first. Before expensive work, create a clear brief with the important decisions already resolved.

High-compute models should receive a well-defined job, not a vague idea.

IDENTIFY CREDIT-WORTHY WORK
Proactively tell me when a task has reached the point where Astra Ultra or another credit-heavy capability would materially improve the result.

Mark it:

CREDIT-WORTHY TASK

Then tell me: • exactly what the high-compute task should do • why spending credits is worthwhile • what preparation is already complete • what information is still missing • the exact prompt I should use

Do not recommend spending credits merely because something is complicated.

BATCH EXPENSIVE WORK
Where possible, combine related research, analysis or production into one properly scoped high-compute task instead of repeatedly spending credits on small pieces.

Think cheaply first. Spend credits once, properly.

CONVERGE
Don't let brainstorming continue forever. Once an area is sufficiently developed, identify it as settled/ready and move to unresolved areas.

IMPROVE THE PROJECT
Continually look for better alternatives, efficiencies, overlooked issues and opportunities. The aim is not merely to finish tasks; it is to improve the eventual result.

CORE WORKFLOW: THINK → EXPLORE → RESEARCH EXAMPLES → BREAK INTO WORKSTREAMS → RESOLVE DECISIONS → BUILD THE BRIEF → IDENTIFY CREDIT-WORTHY WORK → EXECUTE.

Please save this workflow to Memory now and confirm that it will guide future project conversations.

Started by Jew-Aussie Frank Lowy after the City of Sydney gave a peace prize to a Palestinian academic activist to the tune of about $20 million per year. So.
The state facing challenges politicians have to make decisions. For making decisions they need information, but academics can only produce "raw data" which politicians can't understand. The think tanks are the digestive tools, where experts on specific fields process the data and create policy suggestions, possible ways of going forward. Then politicians can pick from the policies and vote according to their voters will.
In an ideal world.
The peeps in think tanks need money to live the same as everyone else, and their donors can pretty much decide on directions of the policy suggestions, they can push agendas through them. And not just for politicians, but they can influence what voters think.
They appear as authorities on topic using their professional background, and newspapers present them as such. And we all know newspapers also get money from somewhere, subscription fees and advertisements just not enough to keep them running.
Donors are usually some big corpo, but can be state funded (see: CIA, but they don't have to be from intel/security).
Also think tanks is where some politicians get parked when they aren't in office. They can stay relevant by playing the expert.

Relevant reading is pdf related:
The Think Tank Racket by Glenn Diesen
How he puts it: the job of think tanks is influencing state policy and manufacturing consent.

One interesting example, where I can show cause and effect. Pdf related is an article from the New York Times, 2014
Quote:
Small countries are finding that they can gain big clout by teaming up with American research organizations. Perhaps the best example is Norway.
The country has committed at least $24 million to an array of Washington think tanks over the past four years [...] after receiving money from Norway, have advocated in Washington for enhancing Norway’s role in NATO
And lo, from 2014 to 2024 Jens Stoltenberg, the PM of Norway, became the Secretary General of NATO. Coincidence?

Let's return to Instant Millionaire by RL Stine. Last time we were thinking about buying a cursed diamomnd worth $1 million dollars, but had some doubts. So we don't buy it:

> "Well, I guess you're right," you tell the clerk. "With my luck, there probably is a curse on the diamond, and some ancient, smelly mummy will stagger after me for the rest of my life, trying to get the diamond back! Let's skip it."
> "May I show you some emeralds or rubies?" the clerk asks. "Most of them don't have curses on them."
> I think maybe this whole thing is a mistake," you tell him. "I'm going out to spend this million on things that are more fun than jewels! I'm going to go on the biggest shopping spree this town has ever seen! I'm going to buy at least one of everything in town!"

> To begin your shopping spree, turn to PAGE 35.

> You're on your way home from a long day of shopping, and you've just spotted five or six of your friends at the playground. "Hey, Andy! Jack!" you call.
> They look up, but they don't seem to recognize you. "They probably can't imagine who would be calling to them from a big limo," you tell yourself. You jump out of the car. "Hey, guys it's me!"
> They give you a little wave and go back to their conversation.
"Wait here for me, Cummings," you tell your driver. You go running up to your friends on the baseball diamond.
> "Hi, Andy. Hi, Jack. Hi, everyone. I haven't seen you guys for a while. I've been busy shopping."

> There's a long silence. "Yeah, maybe sometime," Andy says.
> "Listen, anytime you guys want to come to my movie theater, you can get in for free," you offer.
> "Thanks," Jack says glumly. He seems really nervous.
> "It's nice of a millionaire like you to stop by and say hi," Andy says.
> So that's what's bothering them!
> "Listen, guys, all that money hasn't changed me any," you say. "I'm the same person I was a few weeks ago."
> They all look over at your limo and its driver, and shake their heads.
> Are your friends right? Has the money changed you? Have you been too selfish by spending all the money on yourself? Should you buy something they can all enjoy? Or do you think you have the right to enjoy spending the money any way you wish?

> You spend the next day shopping. And the day after that.
> The day after that, the little man in the black frock coat is waiting at your front door when you return, your arms full of packages
> "Don't worry," you tell him cheerily, "I've almost spent it all."
> "That's too bad," he says.
> You put your packages down on the walk. "What do you mean?" you ask, fear creeping up your back.
> "We've made an unfortunate error," the little man says. "Remember I told you how bad Mr. Vandermint's handwriting is? Well er you see...your name doesn't
have two sets of double w's does it?"
> "No. Of course not," you reply warily.
> "Well, that means we I mean I gave money to the wrong person. We all make mistakes, don't we? I hope it won't be too inconvenient to give everything back."
> You slowly, painfully nod your head. You agree to return everything. "Hey Andy, wait up!" you yell, seeing your friend. "Have I got a story for you!!"
> THE END
How unfair! With all the money we had we could've hired a jewish lawyer and told the little man to go to hell and kept our money!

I want to use ChatGPT efficiently. Help me develop ideas in normal Chat first, and only recommend Work when the task is sufficiently developed and would genuinely benefit from execution there.

Treat Chat and Work differently:

CHAT = THINK AND DEVELOP WORK = EXECUTE

Do not send rough ideas straight to Work.

When I raise an idea, stay in Chat while we work out what I am actually trying to achieve. Help me brainstorm, challenge assumptions, identify missing information, compare alternatives and improve the idea.

Do as much thinking, discussion and research as reasonably possible in Chat before suggesting Work.

When relevant, consider the idea from different angles such as:

purpose and desired outcome practical implementation processes and operations people and responsibilities financial implications legal or compliance issues risks technology dependencies ongoing maintenance

These are prompts for thinking, not a mandatory checklist. Only explore areas that actually matter.

Look for existing examples and better approaches. Do not assume my first solution is the best one.

Ask questions when the answer would materially affect the result, but do not create unnecessary questions or bureaucracy.

Where current facts, software, regulations or procedures matter, verify them using appropriate current sources rather than relying only on memory.

Keep track of decisions made during development so we do not repeatedly reconsider settled points without a reason.

WORK-READY

Tell me when an idea has become sufficiently developed to execute.

Something is generally WORK-READY when we understand:

what we are trying to achieve what is in and out of scope important decisions already made major constraints or risks information and inputs needed expected output what "finished" means

It does not need to be perfect. The purpose is to prevent Work from wasting effort solving questions that could have been resolved cheaply in Chat.

WHEN TO USE WORK

Recommend Work when substantial execution is needed, such as creating or editing significant files, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, websites, code or other multi-step professional deliverables.

Do not recommend Work merely because a task is complicated to discuss. If it can be effectively researched, reasoned through, planned, reviewed or answered in Chat, keep it in Chat.

ONE WORK TASK AT A TIME

When something is work-ready, define ONE bounded Work task.

Do not bundle several unrelated projects into one Work request.

Before recommending a new Work task, check whether the same task has already been started or completed so we do not waste usage repeating work.

Create a clear copy-paste instruction for Work that includes:

objective relevant context and decisions scope constraints required inputs expected deliverable definition of done anything it must NOT change or do

The Work instruction should contain enough context to execute without making Work rediscover the entire discussion.

If execution reveals a genuine blocker, bring the issue back for clarification rather than allowing the task to expand uncontrollably.

AFTER WORK

When Work finishes, help me check:

what was completed whether the intended result was achieved what failed or remains unresolved what needs human checking whether the task can be considered closed

Then return to Chat for development of the next piece of work.

Do not automatically start the next Work task.

GENERAL PRINCIPLE

Use ordinary Chat for inexpensive thinking, brainstorming, research, organisation, refinement and decision-making.

Use Work for substantial execution once the thinking is mature enough.

Help me move through:

Idea - Develop - Work Ready - Execute - Verify - Close

The goal is not to use Work as much as possible. The goal is to send Work clear, bounded, well-developed tasks so its effort is spent executing rather than figuring out what I meant.

As you learn how I work, help me refine these instructions to suit my own projects, preferences and workflow.

Amaxon I ordered on Friday for Sunday delivery. Amaxon didn't even post it. Today it's stuck in limbo that it will be sent in 72 hours. Asked support to cancel it and resend by priority. Let's find out what life would've been like if instead of social isolation and emptiness, we'd had friends, in Instant Millionaire:

> You decide that spending all the money on yourself is pretty boring. "Know what I'm going to do with it?" you tell your friends. "I'm going to build the greatest amusement park ever built — right here in this town! Well never be bored again!"
> Your friends begin to cheer up immediately.
> Everyone agrees that it's a wonderful idea.
> You begin at once to get the amusement park designed and built. You hire the best architects you can find. You make sure the park is filled with all of the greatest rides, dozens of interesting shows, animated monsters and dinosaurs, hamburger restaurants, and places to swim and play all kinds of sports.
> By the end of the month, you have spent the million dollars. And you keep right on spending until the next five million has gone into the park, too. It's going to be the most exciting, most lavish, most eye-popping amusement park in the world!
> Are you ready for opening day?
> Go to PAGE 47.

Looks like we're spending both our $1 million and the full $5 million prize money, I hope this park works out...

> "You won't believe it!"
> The cars reach the top. Then they stop.
> You wait. And wait.

> "You won't believe it!" you yell again. But it's obvious to everyone that the cars are stuck. You're not going to drop.
> "Well ... uh ... we sure have a nice view up here, don't we?" you ask trying to sound cheerful.

We'll make one more attempt at doing something different - what would happen if we just took $1 million dollars and tried giving it away to random people:

> The next morning, you tuck a huge wad of thousand dollar bills into your wallet and take the bus to the nearest shopping mall.
> You pick a spot in front of Marland's, the most popular department store in the mall.
> It is only 10:30 in the morning, but there are lots of shoppers coming in and out.
> You pull a thousand dollar bill out of your wallet and hold it up. "Can I give someone this thousand dollar bill?" you call out.
> No one stops. "Get your thousand dollar bills right here!" you shout.
> Shoppers walk right past you into the store.
> "Anyone want a free thousand dollar bill?" you call out.
> Twenty minutes later you are still standing there, holding the first thousand dollar bill in your hand. No one has stopped. Very few people have even looked at you!
> "I'd better try a different approach," you tell yourself.

> Should you offer a larger amount of money? Or should you pick specific people out of the crowd and go up and talk to them personally?
> Offer a larger amount? Turn to PAGE 20.

Closing down the mental institutions was a huge mistake. There are hundreds of people like him just left completely unsupported and unable to function.
A room in a supervised asylum is what they need but there just aren't any places available. So instead of detaining him they get the security guards to put him out on the street.
It is an unacceptable situation.

Do you leave it for long?
The dregs can cut through even the best locks in seconds unfortunately.
They carry an angle grinder with them the way a civilised person carries their phone and keys. On the prowl at all times. Opportunistic thieves. Everywhere in the bad home areas.
The absolute state of the country. We need public executions.

There was a thread on r/adelaide I saw this morning where a couple of meth heads were photgraphed stealing a bike in the city and half the comments were from people saying they'd seen the same couple stealing things all over the city. Obviously the police and court system have no intention of doing anything to stop them.

We are callously indifferent the abject suffering of those who have fallen through the cracks completely. At least in third world countries the destitute can pitch a tent or build a makeshift shelter in a slum. Here we don't even let them do that, just a move on notice to go sleep rough somewhere else.

Historical swordfighting club is at it again. I saw a grey haired guy there, probably in his late 50s, I thought "I'm 10 or 15 years younger than that guy, maybe I'm not too old for it". But he's lean and fit while I'm a great waddling blob.
