> "Slice of Heaven" featured in Nature's Best—New Zealand's Top 30 Songs of All Time, coming in at No. 7. It was voted No. 1 in 2009 by C4 viewers as New Zealand's favourite song, and is often considered an unofficial national anthem of New Zealand, especially after its usage in New Zealand tourism ads in the 1980s and 1990s. It has also become synonymous with the Footrot Flats film.
Finished I am Legend (2007). I downloaded the alternate ending just because it had a better seed:peer ratio. I like this one much better.
I feel like all films should have alternate endings. They should shoot five or six of them including some just for laughs.
They can release them many years after the original comes out.
Busty Boong Bitches 27 has an alternate ending where Tones gets arrested and sent to prison and he escapes by ramming his fist up the warden's arse and using him as a ventriloquists doll to get himself released.

I did the dishes, they had been sitting there for over a week. Some vile-smelling soaking water tipped down the drain first.
A sad day today I had to throw out my old faithful big red mixing bowl. I used it to cook meals in the microwave. Its massive size ensured big executive meals as well as no spill over, which had been a problem when using normal bowls.
It developed a crack and was on the verge of breaking. The last couple of cooks in it were chancy affairs. It could have gone at any time and would have left a massive mess.
I will need to buy a new one.
Has anyone else noticed how judgemental normies can be? And how they judge on so little information?
I was in a tafe class and the other students asked me if I believed in Bigfoot. I said I believed there was a video of something and they laughed and thought I believed in Bigfoot.
Fucking spilt goon all over my trackies and my desk. A bunch of paper got wet but none of it is important.
I left my dishes from today just sitting there, also my enamel pot always smells off no matter how much I clean it
FRM's mother visited. FRM was crying out the front for a bit. Starting to think I should try broaching the subject with her. FRM's mother inexplicably bought a 12 inch subs from subway for me. Going to have it for breaky tomorrow. Not sure if I should put it in the air-fryer, one half at a time, or just microwave it.
Burnt my fingers on the ceramic plate. It's quite bad.
This new microwave is an 'induction' one. The old one didn't heat up the plate as much.
 >>/692872/
I'm convinced the smell is caused by something toxic that's happened to the pot and it can't possibly be safe to cook with it, but I keep going anyway.
do you fellas find yourselves getting more depressed at this time of night, or does it not make a difference?
 >>/692880/
I once put a hot plate from the microwave in the sink and turned on the tap and when the water hit it the plate cracked into a hundred pieces.
 >>/692885/
The quiet of night can see thoughts come to the NEET mind unbidden and depression ensues.
The night can be high depression but is usually lower anxiety because the world is asleep and not likely to bother you.
I keep meaning to try some of cytube's other channels, so I can have some real time company and stuff to watch while I try and fall asleep

I do wonder if these factual statement will trigger a report to that media authority.
Just had a strange crackhead encounter.
He was standing at the train station and pretending to smoke a ciggie, like reallt exaerated puffs and hand movements and then he made a big show of squashing it out on the ground.
The he walks up onto the platform and either had an epileptic fit or did some weird dance move his whole body was spasming.

The girl at Meng Kee gave me a massive serve again, even though I ordered the small plate.
Got back home just in time to watch Amazon's delivery driver toss my package over the fence.
Was also not impressed that Amazon didn't box it, just used clear plastic wrap. I guess the courier had no need fora T8-T60 Torx socket set.
I saw Monk being flung hither and thither about the room by a poltergeist and he was doing gay little shrieks.

How would I explain this... when you take drugs you get high, after that you come down. What sort of defines a junkie is that they take more drugs to avoid coming down, this severely fucks them, they don't eat, sleep, shit or do anything normally and that's why you see them searching for nothing on the ground, pretending to do things, and acting out of context.

In his mind he was probably acting inconspicuous while waiting for a street dealer
 >>/692965/

That is a bit of a melodramatic way of putting it, but I expect it to be an embarrassing failure. We have already been through this with Crystal Skull. This one looks to probably be worse.

Same I was still awake at after 1am this morning, despite being awake for 38+ hours.
Mummybot decided to vacuum the hallway with my bedroom door open, and even into the room a little bit. I had a go at her and asked why she couldn't just close the door and then she went on a tirade about how I'm an asshole and need to call my father to move out etc etc.
Mummybot doing the vacuuming is the roastie equivalent of that boomer with his monster on the ride-on lawn mower while NEET tries to sleep meme.
NEETs I think an option for the NEET compound would be for us to own and run a caravan park somewhere out of the major cities.
We could each have our own cabin or caravan and we would all work in running the park. We would have an income stream that way.

2 bedroom doors, linen press doors, cupboard in one bedroom.
All of the work we have done so far has only been the lounge, dining, first bedroom and hallway.
Once they're completely done we'll do another two bedrooms.
 >>/693055/
> Once they're completely done we'll do another two bedrooms.
That sounds like a lot of work. Are you planning on finishing all the painting this year?
 >>/693056/
All the living spaces should be done in the next couple of months.
I need to work out what I'm doing with the kitchen and bathroom. Lots of money can be spent there.
Not sure I trust respirators that much, what if they don't seal properly because of my weird shaped face?
You only need a mechanical filter for dust and particles, but these clog quickly and suck to work in. Most guys use a rubber frame that holds a regular 3M dust mask.
 >>/693082/
There was a cartridge mask I had to wear when I cut certain plastics that was really hard to breathe through.
I had to take a breathing break every 5 minutes or so.
 >>/693083/
Cartridges are for propper gas masks, was it a P2 filter?

These days a lot of Western workers use positive pressure masks to pump air through the filter and make it easier to breathe
I remember watching a video with pajeets coating a kite string with ground glass, thinking they really should have a mask
 >>/693086/
I don't recall tbh, it had a long cartridge with filters in off the front to breathe through.
I'd wear it for pvc and bakelite and a few others.
 >>/693083/
The place I used to work at was less than serious in their use of masks, when I asked about whether it safe to use solvents or melt plastic indoors...sometimes I'd get told to take it outside, sometimes they'd just laugh. Do older workers think it's all bullshit?
Never let anyone hang shit on you for using PPE neets, the wagies who hung shit on me for using PPE are now fucked. I see the guys who laughed at me for qearing ppe in the RSL gambling these days because they got injured and paid out. After TAB gets the payout they're going to top themselves
 >>/693095/
Yeah, a lot of places are really slack about it and it is an old blokey culture thing.
I got really sick from pvc fumes, basically chlorine gas, and I always took it seriously after that.

Ok neets, Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981) will begin in 1 hour. 15 minutes before, in 45 minutes we'll play a selection of John Williams music.

 >>/693095/
> Do older workers think it's all bullshit?
A lot of them want to do it the way they were first taught, and its more a show of defiance because they're anxious the training they got 40 years ago doesn't mean shit any more.
Big employers will retrain guys, but if you get stuck in a small shop or are the only technician your skills rust.

Smart guys demand either the employer pays for refresher courses or a higher salary, because skills lose value over time.

It's more of a relative problem, my wet shirt was 80% effective and things changed quickly.

Everyone suffers some damage, if you wore the right mask you've probably suffered very little.
> On April 20, Exmouth and a small part of the surrounding peninsula in Western Australia will be the only place in Australia that lies directly under the path of the Moon's central shadow.
> That means 100 per cent of the Sun will be covered by the Moon for a short time.
> The path is so narrow that even nearby locations such as Ningaloo and Onslow do not reach totality, and instead have a partial eclipse where 99 per cent of the Sun is covered.

> hey neet I want to make money

Like what?
> uh....copper.
Who would want scrap copper

> well I don't have a job

He proceeded to steal a number of totally worthless things he didn't realise were worthless, believed he was the pink panther, tried to steal one valuable thing and got caught with a shed full of stolen shit.
His trademark was the hacksaw, with a hacksaw you can steal anything.

There was an extraction fan but it was an old one meant for a wood saw.
I wan't breathing direct fumes but it kinda shuts down your sense of smell so it's hard to tell.
 >>/693117/
> wash paint off his hands with paint thinner
I restored a couple of WWII rifle stocks and submerged them and my bare hands in acetone and paint thinner to remove the linseed oil. Other than a bit of dryness and cracking, nothing bad happens.
 >>/693115/
Often these thefts are more like vandalism by angry workers who did it just to get their grevience before a judge. Maybe the whole reason its in the paper is because the employer won't help the police
I once opened a drum of formic acid without a mask and the smell was unbelievable.
Like getting hit in the face with a billion dead ants.
 >>/693139/
an old bloke there who I had asked about the plastic fumes told me not to worry, he'd worked in a plastic factory his whole life, nothing wrong with him. I shouldn't of fucking listened.

Don't. I've tried it twice now, about 9-12 months apart. Boigs are tasteless and lukewarm. Waffle chips are cold and seasoned with the weakest shit ever. Star nuggers have a unique shape, but aren't anything special.
Bill got pick 3 again and still got less than I did today with pick 1, as he did when we both got pick 3 last time.
 >>/693200/
I had a chicken and a beef boig meal (separate times) and both were crap. It was also while I was eating at Burger X near daily so it had tough competition.
 >>/693211/
I got the 'big carl' tonight, which was double beef, double cheese, and supposedly lettuce and secret sauce, but it was shit.
I don't know what they're doing, but freshly-made boigs come out tepid. Motherbat's frying pan boigs come out three times hotter.
The only positive I can give them is that both times their lettuce has been fresher than you get from HJs/McDolans/KFC. That's not saying much.
Not an overly productive day today. FRM is sick. She was vomiting this morning. I brought her some water. Still not sure what is going on with the crying and everything.
 >>/693213/
I found the beef one excessively greasy, which can be okay sometimes but not with that. I think I got curly fries that had no seasoning.
Jack's burgers in the centre is supposed to be good, I am yet to try them.
 >>/693216/
> Jack's burgers in the centre is supposed to be good, I am yet to try them.
I think that is owned by the guy who ran the Lizbef Grove fish and chip shop into the ground, and then had a cafe thing a the Centre that he has re-branded about 4 times now, next to Coles.
 >>/693219/
This did cross my mind. She has said previously that she doesn't want to have children for another couple of years due to her career or whatever. If she was pregnant and considering an abortion it could explain the crying. I hope it is just something dumb though.
 >>/693224/
She has done this sort of thing before of being really upset and not saying anything for a few days. She usually just dumps all the information on me after a bit.
 >>/693222/
I know that cafe, it was very inconsistent.
Some days it was good and he was nice, and others he looked like he was drowning.
Probably a gambling issue, he didn't look like a druggy.
I had a client that went there (jacks burgers) a bit when it opened, it's probably gone to shit now and I missed the good feed.
So many places around here are like that, they're good for a bit then go crap.
 >>/693226/
In that case, wait it out I guess. But you are a rent-paying member of the household and there is no reason for you to feel the need to walk on eggshells.
 >>/693229/
I'm not walking on egg shells. I mostly just ignore this type of thing until she wants to talk to me.
 >>/693230/
Yeah, I've been meaning to ask him about it but she has been around him the whole time. He is acting as though nothing is up so it would probably indicate that everything is fine.
I've started cooking with beef mince instead of pork and I can't believe how much better the flavour is. I am never going back.

They're always about corrupt politicians and shit too.
I presume their media is filtered through a department, so it's weird they would let so much.
It might be to desensitise the public.
It's all very strange.
went out for a walk along the street. Through a window I saw someone watching tv, tried to get close enough so I could see what they were watching, but couldn't. Very lonely.
I haven't drunk very much tonight. I don't want to feel sick tomorrow. I've gotten to the point that goon bag doesn't quite last two days which I don't like.

Back from walking Doggo, it was quite nice out there today. Beautiful weather. Bird song in the background.
We passed one cyclist.
Self-improvement is a meme. We are what nature and nurture has made us. We have to follow the course until it reaches its natural conclusion.
We will suffer less if we accept what we are and accept that we will not change. Year of acceptance.
Before taking Doggo for his walk I threw a tantrum inside the house because I was all ready to go - even had the leash in my hand - and I remembered to check out the window to make sure the coast was clear and the two oldies from over the road were out there sitting on their walkers on the footpath facing my house.
My anxiety couldn't handle having to walk out the front and down the footpath past them so I had to delay my departure until their taxi came twenty minutes later.
I was in a real rage about it. Storming around the house calling them stupid old cunts. Mental illness.

This is what abuse does to a person. Never forget what they have taken from you NEETs. Don't blame yourselves.

Is that you again hypochondriac NEET? I know that if you do not have any documented medical condition that can be traced to your former workplace then they will tell you to go away and come back once you get sick with something (which you probably won't).
You should see a psychologist to work through your anxiety and hypochondria.
I am having another chamomile tea. I think I am feeling some sort of effect on my brain - difficult to describe exactly - but it might just be the placebo effect.
Not sure if positive or negative yet.

I feel like this is bait to make me post and then everyone will secretly laugh at me for being pathetic because really they're all successful workers with gf's

Are there any other industries besides construction that a neet of sensitive disposition should stay away from?
Fellas inspired by Indiana Jones movie might wanna watch Tutankhamun, a 4 part mini-series. Fairly fresh. I'm one episode in, and it's okay. Don't expect IJ level action ofc. But luckily no epic music either.
Maybe I could find someone selling a few points at the local and use the meff to help me get my life together
I knew a methhead once who firmly believed that 3/4 of the population were on meth.
He was sure the average person got the crack pipe out after work with the wife.
I found Rome TV Series to be overrated. The books it is based on are good though. Written by an Australian too.

While it's not entirely impossible, this possibility sounds very unlikely.
Why would Hungarians make anything about a chap named Carter?
Also I stream Hungarian stuff on endcorner, but it:
- always has English subtitles;
- never suggested to any foreigner to try to get a Hungarian movie/show somehow, it's impossible task (well there is youtube, but finding something with subtitles is another question), so why would I suggest that?
Weird.
 >>/693625/
You guys must make some dramas about other cultures in history though, right? If Holywood left it to the countries themselves, we'd have no movies about Rome or Egypt or any of those things.

I watched Blue Heelers once and one of the small country towns two choof dealers murdered the other to get all the choof business.
It was not very good.
 >>/693639/
and then there would be news stories the next night if an episode had something 'bad' in it
like one episode of A Country Practice where some school kid built a gun that fired a marble with a fire cracker and the news the next two nights was about how bad the show was for showing kids how to make a gun
 >>/693641/
Then fatherbot was laughing about how when he was a kid, he used a bicycle pump as a barrel and clamped it in grandfatherbot's vice and blew a hole in the shed wall
God I miss this gooning shit
Just jumping from music vid to music vid, fucking around online, no worry in the world, finally the stress switched off
Possum was annoyed when footage of 9/11 interrupted his morning aerobics TV viewing and killed his little 12 year old stiffy under the blankey once

I disagree. My father used to pick 200kg of chestnuts a day. The going rate as of about a decade ago was 80 cents per kg picked, so 160*7*4*3 = 13440. If you went fucking flat out I reckon you could hit that. You'd have to get lucky with who you were picking for and shit, along with lots of light etc. but I reckon that could be done.
 >>/693713/
About 10k AUD could be achievable I reckon, so about 6k euros. Keep in mind you'd have to pay for your flights and have costs like food an shit which is expensive here. I haven't been involved in that line of work since about 2011 though. Lots of chinks were involved although you'd get Europeans too, mostly Italians for some reason.
If you want to work here, it might be worth looking into translation. With all the Ukrainian refugees around now and the supply of Russian workers cut off, there is probably work to be had translating between Russian and English.
 >>/693715/
The girls are massive sluts.
Going without smokes has made me hungry. I really want roast lamb with roast potato and pumpkin. Or kfc.
 >>/693719/
Yeah, but I mean translating between English and Russian. Doing it so our government people and shit can communicate with them. What proportion of the younger hohols can speak English? Isn't it pretty rare?
My mum's friend married a Russian man that she met in Saint Petersburg. He thinks she is really laid back and relaxed but she is quite highly strung by Australian standards. I don't think I've ever met a Russian woman but I'd expect them to be quite neurotic based off the way he talks about them.

Started by letting myself in at 5AM with a head torch like a burglar and it only got more bizarre from there, but that's what it took and the bossman said do whatever was needed.

It was only 6 hours in when I changed into clean clothes, clocked out and in again, used a broom pole to insta kill the third rat that the Wagies realised that they were fucked.

For me the disappointing was the lack of WWI scenes. They could have shown what skills he picks up during the war, or how he becomes best buddies with the Arabs, or whatever.
 >>/693753/
Last time I went there with Bill, I literally walked all the way down King William Road to the North Tce intersection. No need for the foot bridge or any of that crap.
You could also walk down War Memorial Drive and turn left at the Morphett Street bridge.

I thought the implication the show made was that he was a traitor and possible homo and that's they that officer dismissed him from the need to serve.
Vindaloo and Garlic Nan, an Indian street boy and his elderly grandmother. Characters in the Detergent Jones novel.

Last we saw was a little village where he was going to have a couple of drinks of rice wine in the floating bamboo and straw goon hut with the local yakuza and serve them a hot take of rape
