Looks like my missing parcel has made an appearance.
And they are sending me another one free now, lol.
That tracker hadn't changed since the 18th December before today.

It's hard for anyone to say why. I sent a return package it took less than two weeks, and it was posted one week before Christmas to get to Nevada from Australia using standard international post. Not certain why it is taking so long for you

There are still delays that postal services will never let go of

The fastest way to move something is a courier if you cannot wait. Shipito* use to be good for their Australian courier service, but slow as fuck at peak times and the costs of this service does add up. It can still be good when sellers on eBay add up multiple postage costs for multiple items without a discount or use that terrible package forwarding company that eBay uses (that strips the packaging for damage items a lot of the time to save costs).

*Anything that requires special clearance like a battery (special packaging) or other item requiring an import clearance avoid a courier. Their fees can be higher if the item requires special import clearance, which you can lodge yourself if you're using Standard Airmail with Australian Customs.
Went and got her newspaper and some chippies to go with the sausage rolls tonight and a folder and some of those clear plastic sleeves and a book on germany

It's odd. I know their international express services are a courier, I wouldn't be surprised if the delivery between major cities is contracted and that's part of their issue.

For shipito avoid their insurance and do not get them to open it (the small fees add up). Just get them to slap a label on and let it go. They can consolidate shipments but they need to be from the same seller and sender and it can be costly. I only did it once when buying from American retailers as they use massive boxes. The service can be slow at times as I have order and paid for postage within the hour of the "shipment has arrived" email and it still took a while for them to get it ready to send.
Went out shopping. All the bakeries and butchers I normally go to are closed. Lazy fucking wagies, expecting a few weeks a year off reeeeeeee!
