Here's a tokány recipe, I just made from half a piece of pork tenderloin.
Ingredients: meat, szalonna (salo, fatty bacon), onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, water, sour cream.
Slice up the szalonna, the onions, the garlic, the meat. I sliced the meat half of little finger thickness strips. Tokány usually means pencil thick strips, so just about so.
Melt the fat out of the szalonna, then fry the pieces white and take em out of the fat. Fry the onions and the garlic - until the onions turn glass. Dump in the meat and fry out the pink. Salt and pepper. Fry it a bit more than add water and let it simmer.
While it simmered I boiled water and cooked pasta.
After most of the water evaporated under the meat I added couple of spoonful of sour cream, mixed it well.
That's it.
