Its friday night in 2026 and there is no beer because of acute shortages since the refinery blew up. Having to make do with tea tree tea and emergency pixxa. I finished reading Hyperion but the plot did not resolve. It was just like a long introduction to the action but then the book ended before the action. I will have to read the sequel now to find out the truth behind the big mysteries.

In other news had the cops at my shop today. Some kids came in doubling on a Surron. They just wanted a tube. Reportedly they did a runner from some cops tha just happened to be in the estate on other business.
Cops came to my shop asking who they were and wanted the record of the electronic transaction to hunt them down with. Thing was I didn’t know who they were and they gave me 10 dolla cash for the tube. The cops flat out didn’t believe me stating “kids do not pay in cash” 


Fuck sake don’t know why I even co-operate sometimes. Well maybe their grandpa gave at the caravan park gave them cash so they could fix his beach bike. It was a 26” tiube after all. 

Also had another incident recently when someone one in a white Toyota AE86 was reportedly driving erratically around the estate. Who ever reported it mentioned specifically it came from my complex (it
Was actually my neighbor) they rocked up and saw my white lancia through the window and phoned me up when I riding about 20km south at the time and demanded I come in and surrender myself to police station immediately. 


Sloppy job, extremely low effort detective work.

do you know anything about the lightweight tpu plastic inner tubes? i tried them on my downhiller and got a slow leak almost immediately but i think i pinched them with my tyre irons or possibly the reinforcement around the valve stem was insufficient

Lightweight tubes have nothing to do with it you may just be unlucky 
-whenever you get a flat pump up the old one  and find out what happened 
-If it’s pinched you fucked up and dishwasher detergent on the bead will make it easier to fit in future 
-If it keeps failing around the valve stem you need a new tire, the bead is old amd not hooking onto the rim, the tire is rotating and ripping the valve out and you need a new tire
