She came back in December after she left in October. This dude, Myspeld made a *** server for her and she joined, they got in contact and they got in an e-relationship. She "broke up" with him in April because she was manipulating her and making her do things she didn't want and many more shit (check the drama thread for all the leaks). They're calling him a pedo because he was doxxed and people found out he was asking if sex baby dolls were legal in the US and posted on loli forums and stuff. 
They didn't actually break up or they got together again somehow since she streamed with him in Twitch. Check the drama thread

Oh boy, oh boy.
Let me try to give you a quick rundown as best I can.
First of all, Bonbi returned to making content on December 24th of last year, and took another break in late June-early July, and most recently in early November.

Now, the drama. I wasn't really around for most of it, and I really just try to parse what I saw as accurately as possible.
Around the time Bonbi left, a guy called Anon1725/myspeld/Seth (nicknamed anonce because he is a pedophile) made a Bonbibonkers *** server against her explicit wishes. That same guy also apparently made an effort to get in contact with her then boyfriend Deepsauce. It seems like Seth schemed months ahead of time to get closer to Bonbi. Deepsauce himself is a 20 year old from Vietnam (remember that Bonbi was 15 at the time), but most people that interacted with him seem to think that he is cool and had nothing but good intentions. I can't really comment on that.
The important part is that since Bonbi and Deep lived in different timezones and Bon was quite anxious about all the doxing, she was looking for somebody to come to with her worries. Deep himself directed her towards Seth, who shamelessly abused the situation. He slowly but surely turned Bonbi against Deepsauce until she called him a pedophile (Seth himself being only a year younger btw) and accused Deep of all sorts of things that are complete lies (e.g. when he sent her a naked baby picture of himself, she called that a dick pic; or when he said something about her hamster, she claimed he wanted to fuck the hamster...)

Seth becomes Bonbi's new e-boyfriend, but the nature of the relationship seems fundamentally different, and this is where the image of her starts to fall apart over time: Bonbi joining * in the first place, Bonbi and anonce erp'ing in the public server under alt accounts (e.g. horse cock memes stem from that), them repeatedly "trolling" Bonbi's fanbase, Bonbi opening a Patreon & Ko-fi only a month or so after reiterating that she doesn't want cosplay to become a job and doesn't want money... Of course, for the longest time anonce denied that he was in fact dating Bonbi, and that it was all just jokes. There were some inner circle people that knew, but for one reason or another they kept quite at the time. 
Where things get even darker, is when people found out that apparently anonce uses the same account name nearly everywhere, including lolicon forums he used to be a member of, and, understandably, a guy admiring the "innocence and body type" of lolis working hard to get close to a girl admired for her innocence, raises some flags. His version of the story is that he was addicted to pornography and went down a dark road, but, of course, all of that is in the past. He also used to sell nudes on /b/ apparently.
In March-April is when shit really went down. Bonbi comes forward to some people she was close to, and says that Seth had basically emotionally abused her: he threatened suicide if she wouldn't talk with him, he forced her to "do uncomfy things", tried to control who she could talk to, send her links to pornography, asked her about her vagina, etc. Remember though that Bonbi apparently lied about Deepsauce, so how much of this is actually real is sort of left up to interpretation. Eventually people strong-arm anonce out of his own server, and everybody thinks that Bonbi breaks up with him in April. Then she releases a retraction that says she consented to everything they did (even though she is a minor and can't consent, per her own words 6-7 months prior). Bonbi refuses to pursue any kind of legal action, and people just take it as her wanting to forget all about it. She also leaves the * server shortly thereafter, claiming that she wants to find friends irl and not waste as much time online.
Somethings else I didn't mention so far, is that Bonbi was also woefully dishonest throughout most of it. Most of her announcements on *** were not actually written by her, she lied to people constantly (several stream clips that illustrate this nicely, but the same apparently also applies to private chats), and she became more & more narcissistic. Almost everybody that seems to have interacted with Bonbi directly speaks negatively of her personality. One guy basically summarized it as: she secretly revels in drama; she dislikes anybody that actually tries her to do what's best for her (in terms of leaving the house, eating healthier, exercising, focusing on school), and only likes yes-men that go along with whatever she says (against her later statements); she lies and throws people under the bus with no remorse; and she refuses to take responsibility for any of her own actions.

Anyway, not much happened over the next 5 months. Bonbi joined some private * servers, which briefly caused some drama, and she took a break after her Elsa stream, in which she talked about how horrible it was to spend all that time in the (public) * server surrounded by "yes-men and orbiters". Bonbi briefly talks about playing Splatoon and later Overwatch on her Instagram, and intends to stream on Twitch. Some people on *** start to sour on her around this time, because she unfollows some of them without explanation, even though she called them friends or promoted their edits just months earlier. 
Shit really starts to hit the fan in the second half of October: somebody makes a post in /bbg/ how curiously, myspeld's Overbuff profile shows an awful lot of games for the month of October. It should be mentioned here, how exactly Overbuff works: the site only updates match data when a public profile is manually refreshed. myspeld's Overbuff profile hadn't been refreshed for a year until early October and then continuously the entire month. This raises the question who exactly made that post in /bbg/, and who meticulously refreshed the profile. Was it really just a random anon, or did Seth deliberately want to leak his relationship, so he could fled on us again?
Playing lots of Overwatch might not be a lot of evidence in itself, but the very next day, both Bonbi's account and Seth's changed their profile pictures first to a Russian flag and then to S and M respectively (the first letters of their real names). Bonbi announces a Twitch stream not much later and myspeld is a moderator, basically confirming what everybody already knew at that point. In fact, she even plays with her pedo boyfriend on stream. After the stream, the next break follows, although it only really lasted for like two weeks.

Bonbi had essentially lied to everybody for the past half year, deceived all of us and year-long friends. Literally the stream before all that, Bonbi said that she doesn't have a boyfriend, and condemned people using an audio of a singer accused of pedophilia (despite dating a pedophile)... Whether Bonbi and Seth never broke up at all, or whether it really was over in April but they somehow reconnected in the following months nobody knows. In fact, we know virtually nothing that has been going on since April/May because Bonbi interacted with almost nobody other than anonce and nobody at this point seems of have access to their private conversations. Btw, somebody made a stink on her patreon about what happened, and she of course just said it's mean fans spreading false rumors. She never publicly mentioned having a bf, even on the stream she played with him, and certainly never revealed any kind of information about him, like e.g. his age. This you could contrast with Deepsauce, about whom she talked about in glowing terms in her old pre-Hard Times treams.

This essentially brings us to today: Bonbi spends most of her waking hours talking with a pedophile groomer, has actively antagonized her most ardent fans, seems to have changed as a person (less quirky, awkward teen, more sassy e-girl); and it's all fucking hopeless basically. She even seems less and less interested in cosplay since the shitstorm; her last one was just a quickly thrown together remake of Rose, before that a Sailor Moon cosplay that looks just like a generic Japanese school girl. The toks themselves have become more low-effort too (Rose was literally shot for shot remakes of her old stuff just worse, Sailor Moon was very boring & uninspired except for maybe one). There was some good stuff in October right before the Twitch stream, but bad/mediocre bontent nowadays definitely seems to outnumber the high quality stuff she used to produce.
Most of the people here, on 4chan, or on *** are somewhere between no longer caring about Bonbi, actively hating Bonbi and hoping for terrible things to happen, or being in denial and unreasonably optimistic that things will somehow work out. Poor souls.
There are more details, none of which are good, but you get the basic gist of it.

Now my question is: How did you end up here without knowing any of this?

I got to say I don't really see much wrong with her dating a guy in his 20s. She must be like 15 or 16 already, so she's pretty grown up. Of course, the law is the law, especially in the US.
And to answer your question: well, there was a thread about cute girls dancing in another imageboard and someone mentioned Bonbi and how I should come here to get more material on her. That's when I started seeing everyone talking about these past happenings.

Her joining pisscorp was the beginning of the end really. She mentioned in the Elsa stream how it was a bad idea and made her horribly narcissistic to be surrounded by orbiters. I think her hanging out with anonce is even worse than being in the public pisscorp, but at least it's one good step she's taken.
It's also difficult to say how many of her negative personality traits were already there before, and how many developed over this past year due to everything that happened.

If it were just the age, I might even agree with you, but it's everything else on top of it:
a) Seth being into lolicon makes it clear the reason he is into Bonbi in the first place is her child-like, innocent looks; he sexualizes her age. In one of the public erp session's Bonbi even calls herself "anon's loli".
b) Seth scheming for months to get closer to Bon, taking advantage of the situation, and throwing anybody that could be an obstacle under the bus; shows clearly that he was basically waiting for an opportunity when Bonbi was vulnerable.
c) Even if Bonbi's accusations in March might have been overblown, it still begs the question if there wasn't some truth to it after all. Seth might have emotionally manipulated and abused Bonbi to get what he wants.
d) Even if you completely discard the previous point, at the very least it's an unhealthy, co-dependent relationship with an obsessive fan. e) On top of that, Seth pushes Bon in a bad direction: she spends all her time in her room, neglects school work or cosplay in favor of playing video games with him,  continues her unhealthy habits, sounds more like an egirl every stream, etc. He also pushed her in all likelihood to monetization, quite possibly the culprit behind her enjoying her hobby less. All of this isn't surprising when you consider that people found some of anonce's old comments where he mentioned that he prefers Belle Delphine, which should clearly give away in what direction he wants Bonbi to develop. Seth himself is a NEET with not future that plans to leech of his internet girlfriend for income.
f) And in connection with the previous point: since anonce used to sell nudes before, it's not crazy to think that he could try to push Bonbi to sell similar stuff once she hits 18.
g) The fact Bonbi kept her boyfriend secret for such a long time and refuses to even try to justify her actions, even to people she considered friends, and, in fact, even cuts off anybody critical of her decisions; shows that she knows on some level that it's an all-around bad move.

As I mentioned in my posts before, most people seem to have been okay with Deepsauce who is even a year older than Seth. It's just that everything around it that makes this seem like a very toxic, unhealthy relationship.

She did some cringe sex chat with Anon, who is an adult albeit a young one, under her bugdaddhy account. Anon knew it was her. Later she joins as Mocha Bean, which becomes her "main" account. People find out bugdaddhy is Bonbi's alt account, remember sex chat, shitstorm happens, Bonbi and Anon play it off as a reckless joke but people's perception of them changes. Fast forward through bullshit, Anon controls her incoming messages, brags about having 500 or so unreleased tiktoks and pics, and the two give off creepy as fuck vibes with each other.

Early March, it was shown that he posted on loli forums asking about child sex dolls, reviewing loli porn, and even enjoying toddlercon. Used same screen name on those forums as he did for pisscorp. Anon leaves server. Bonbi is silent for a few days, comes back, says he was a "good friend" and she feels betrayed or something, and that she has cut all contact with him and wants to forget him. Early April: we find out she only briefly cut contact with Anon: he joined on an alt, "Peach Cider", the same day he left as Anon1725. Peach posted an unreleased tik tok, sparked suspicion. Bonbi covers for him, says Peach is her cousin.

Anyway, after April Seth (Anon1725/myspeld) seemed to be out of the picture since April. Then someone on /wsg/ posts about correlative activity on Bonbi and Anon's Overwatch accounts and suspects they're still in contact. Purely speculative, but bonbi and anon1725 caught wind of it and decided to confirm it themselves by changing their respective profile pics in tandem and making in-jokes and references in doing so. Stuff that only people who know the lore would understand. Couple of days later, they stream on Twitch together and play overwatch for hours. She says he's her "special guest". This whole thing blew people's minds, considering the history between them, the fact that they seemed to have kept it dead quiet for months, and how smug and brazen they were about it.
Even just from a perspective of their own self-interests, it was absolutely fucking insane to do that.
