Seems like a weird conclusion to me. Didn't really see any signs of that. If he had stopped riding, fallen back to the group behind and had Kuss pull, then it wouldn't be crazy, I think. It's not like he's in a position to win, but that was the case the past 2 editions as well.

commuted by bike today for the first time since I moved, also the first time I ever rode in that direction from my apartment. It's surprisingly flat after the first 10-15k and also way longer than driving in the cuckcage, like 5-8 km more one way. 10°C at 5:00 in the morning and over 30°C at around 15:00 what a difference

/d2g/ but it’s dead and I stopped playing, /twg/ but the total war games went to shit

can’t be arsed to look for the gem threads on /v/

/sp/ for gamer threads is still fun picking up a final here and there, it’s a shame the track and field general is just coom pictures general barely related to what’s happening on screen.

Belgian "doctor" thinks Cian UIJTDEBROEKS will get van hooydonck'd in couple of years and Movistar will be to blame

the disguised blessing is pogacar being so good team effort barely mattered for this first few stages don’t see how any of them can help.
Jorgenson has been especially bad this tour, crampy also worse compared to last year.

 >>/102806/
not a good look for jorgenson regarding finding a new team next year, kuss will retire anyways and piganzoli rode a great giro
not sure that uno-x will allow him to follow jonas just because he has a scandi larping surname

honestly their plan to exhaust pog in the first week lost them like a minute on gc but kinda seemed plausible in the end when pog got depressed and had his knee injury flare up.
You would think with this information they would try that again but now their tactic is just rolling over and dying? With the entire team being near useless because there is nothing to do, UAE will pull until pog attacks either way

what I think is that tubeless ready rims make it a lot harder to mount any tire
not long ago a mate double flatted and I fixed one of the tubes and getting the gp5000 on and off an old 17mm internal non tlr rim was so much easier than mounting my own tires. That's gotta be it

Over the last few days i have unironically become convinced both Pog and Torro are doping.
They way they talked after the stage, the history of how they became part of UAE. The rest of UAE team probably doesnt even know about it.

Gianetti obviously knows. The way he answered Thijs Zonneveld insinuating question after the Tourmalet was like interrogation of a liar 101. Shaking his head no when he said yes, his eye contact and eyebrows moving in his answers.

FUCKING idiot, I forgot me pump in my car and I just found out 40 km away.
Im gonna spend the rest of the ride nervously wondering when I will pinchazo
Doesnt help i just saw a group replacing a tire too. Fortunately plenty of cyclists around for now.

Schizo or not, it has become so clear to me in the past few days. They have found something minimally invasive. A pill or some substance thats not picked up in urine doping control. They also plan to take it to the grave.

Thankfully Slav TV broadcast should start soon.
The co commentator there is some ex dopeur who got the Belgian media in uproar for saying Remco faked a puncture in that one Vuelta.
He's also got a nice soothing voice so that helps .

2024 had
> exciting streak of squeaker victories at the beginning
> Pog unexpectedly humiliating Vinge on Galibier
> Cav breaking the record
> chaotic gravel stage with lots of attacks and Remco seething
> Vinge chasing down Pog after getting dropped, and winning the sprint for the stage victory
> 3 (THREE) Girmay victories
in the first 2 weeks, it was great

Another argument against Pog, albeit a weak argument, is his body composition imo. His body just not reflect his extreme performances. He competes against peak atletes in the classics, on the flats against power gnome memco, against skinny twink fish in the mountains, all who have body types that specifically reflect their ability.

Probably true. So this may tell us something about what type of drugs need to be looked at. The EPO/steroid era produced very muscular broad shoulder types, which was an indication into what type of PEDs may have been used even without positive tests.

I am back, I didn't pinchazo, but I shortened the ride of some mostly flat terrain with dubious asphalt quality

Looks like I missed some GREAT stage too, why does OTRUBA, a renowed climber, go into flat terrain breakaways? Again?

Anyway, nothing to write home about. Average watts at 30 degrees, a month ago I would probably score like 180w BEFORE heat acclimatization.

I am nooooticing a pattern of
> strong weekday rides after 18:00 when it start to get chilly with MASSIVE watts
> weak and tired weekend afternoon rides when it's hot and damp
coincidence?

get fucking heatdomed fools

< Speaking to France TV before Stage 7, Baptiste Veistroffer said: "I gather that some teams don't really like it when I'm out in front. They aren't my sports directors. That's cycling—the goal is to hurt the others and win the race."
