Goddamn, Vingegaard and Lipowirz being out sucks even more now with UAE literally shitting the bed. We at least could have had the illusion that someone would try something from a distance in the Alpes. Now everyone will just ride to defend their spot.

me whole trip so far is planned with that tool, I spend probably 20mins with it and its absolutely perfect so far. the crux is which profile you go for - rennrad (when you want to go fast), rennrad weniger verkehr, includes bundesstrasse and landstrasse here and there), rennrad sehr wenig verkehr (if you go with your /cyc/ gf. you do have a /cyc/ gf bert dont you?)

Komoot was okay some time ago but as someone who knows all the roads around here it sends you on some absolutely disgusting roads. Like downhill cobbles and farmer roads when it's absolutely not necessary.
Also when looking for routes from others I've been getting the same 10 maps for like a year or more

For example
We are planning a ride that goes from Imst in Austria over Fernpass to Erhwald
Obviously riding that on the road is a no-go, I rode it in car many a times and even it car it sucks.
Apparently there's several bike paths around and majority of them seem on tarmac
So this is the use case I am looking for, to verify if the bike path is rideable all the way on a road bike or if there's some nasty hidden surprise.

He gets very little chances though, either he's with mads and can't attack and take the points or he's some group behind and can't bridge over risking bringing other point takers.
Vacek has it even worse because he's a lighter mads

However, have we squeaked about
> Naesen heeft gehoord dat de controleurs op zoek zouden zijn naar een groeihormoon. “Het is om iets op te sporen dat maar drie uur in je bloed zit. Er bestaan zulke dopingproducten. Je kunt dat niet op Plateau de Solaison nemen, want waarom zou je dat nemen voor een rustdag? Je moet controleren op een moment dat het belangrijk is, niet om elf uur ’s avonds”, aldus de 35-jarige renner.

> “Adam Yates has stomach problems. He had to vomit, but he was doing better today. With Brandon, it’s different,” Matxin says, referring to Brandon McNulty, who abandoned during stage eighteen. “He has no fever, he doesn’t have corona, and he hasn’t delivered any positive health tests. But he does have symptoms, especially a sore throat.”

> And then there is Tim Wellens, who finished last today, 43 minutes behind winner Richard Carapaz. “With Tim, it’s different. He isn’t sick. After he had done his thing and was dropped, it was better to recover. Today was a breakaway stage where we weren’t going for the win. It’s better to recover then.”

the team is panicking
