Matthews was also shit but that's how he has always been riding. Del Toro obviously is an actual teammate of McNulty so he's also going to helping him.

Track is broken if they don't limit it to Olympics-only events. A few guys are capable of getting 1000+ pts by doing 2 or 3 events of Omnium, Scratch, Elimination, Points race and Madison.

Thanks! It's actually a Tr*k Emonda SLR, one of the lightest ever frames (this one is 6.2kg without any special parts and a porky stem and handlebar). Rides like a dream, very stiff and responsive. Only downside is BB90 standard (doesn't take Sram DUB) and the geometry (currently riding 140mm stem with a 105mm reach handlebar and I'm switching to 150mm, lol) but that doesn't really matter when I don't do any real descents.

That said, I've been debating lately on selling the Trek and instead buying a Stander Triebwerk steel frame. It's not nearly as light but it looks much better and the geometry is a bit more suited for me. It's for sale for 1090e on their website. And I could still get it to around 7.5kg I reckon.

Freshly crowned UCI World Champion Brandon McNulty has a stronger connection to Flanders than you might think. Long before his solo victory at the World Championships in Montréal, the American came to explore Flemish roads in the summer of 2014 as a junior rider. After a warm-up race in Kerniel on July 19—where he had to settle for second place behind the Dane Julius Johansen—he hit the mark three times. He won in Geel-Stelen (July 27, with compatriots Matteo Jorgensen and Tyler Stites taking second and third), Lommel (July 30), and Drieslinter (August 3). He won that last race solo, competing against a field of 97 riders. At the finish line, he looked visibly fresher than he did on Sunday in Montréal. With the winner's flowers tucked under his arm, he queued up at the payout desk to collect his prize money. While wondering aloud how he would manage to get that bouquet back to his parents in Phoenix intact, he spoke to the Flemish cycling press for the first time: "I just didn't feel my legs. It’s great to win against nearly a hundred guys. The three-week Belgian campaign is over; we’re flying back home today."

The handlebars are Pro Vibe Aero Alloy Pursuit, my favourite handlebars. These are 38cm on the hoods but I have 36cm versions on my other bikes. More than 100mm handlebar reach is perfect for my fit, the flare is good, and the price is relatively cheap at under 100e.

to be quite honest once they fix the tubeless tire dislocation issue that's apparently been the main source of flats in this years roubaix and couple that with 40+ mm tires that'll probably fit most frames in a couple iterations it'll trivialize the race big time. Cobbles will still be something but a lot less brutal so the race is effectively just an extra long flat stage
so we may need a tire width rule if just for that race
