stage 4 has a mtf rampa finish. expect astana to hunt for UCI points in türkiyie or however the sultan erDOGan wants us to write his country

Minor differences and hoping the others overcook and lose points.
Although the closest guy above me has the same team.
Some berts fell for that distancelet VAUQUELIN, some think this is a NYS race, squeakers couldn't help themselves with GREGOIRE/BARDET.
I would have picked TRONCHON otherwise, the same team as Tismbert and the Finnish Rapist.
Don't think he is higher than 25, I am picking one safe assistman of the Satan.

does endchan support emojis? not that it should as it's cancer.

Like a true dauphin, noticed him too.
There is this ruin of an old chateau funded by a nobleman from the Renard family in a town nearby.
There are some shy murmurs about rebuilding it.
Another very nice schloss is being rebuilt in Kopice/Kopitz. Hope once we are done with saving what was built by old noblemen, something new and modern can be built, other than a McMansion or caricatural attempts at building modern "castles".

Anyways, me long gone nan's birthday is today, mom wants to go the cemetery so there I go.

> “We are going with three riders who we hope and think can ride a good final: Tiesj Benoot, Ben Tulett and Attila Valter”, the Dutch team manager opens. “With them we try to be in a good breakaway early, if that is possible and really makes sense, to avoid the violence of the big favorites towards La Redoute and Roche-aux-Faucons. The great thing about cycling is that anything is possible.” Tijmen Graat can try to get into the breakaway on his debut in a monument.

did not age well it seems

> Die Burgruine zählt zu den touristischen Attraktionen des Ortes. Um sie rankt sich die Sage des Schlossgespenstes Berthe
ghost of bert living in that castle

I am back, had pretty healthy ride to and from the cemetery.
Bought some bean soup, waved to some cagies who let me go through a pedestrian crossing, Sunday is good.

>>/3080/
I've always preferred white bar tape, the Fizik stays white seemingly forever. But my current bike being essentially just black with white lettering, I feel the white bar tape is too stark, been trying gold, multicolor, etc. Black tape is a punishable offense IMO.

>>/3087/
>>/3083/
I think the wrapping depends on the tape's thickness, flexibility, stretch. I change the wrap method for different brands.

>>/3194/
a large proportion of the population is drooling slackjaws who do think this way and also dont use adblock in any circumstance. do not overestimate the masses

Balaphilipe is now on the boomer experience, doing the sudden motion you always did but now something kraaks and you stop in your heels with backpain.

Healy and Ciccone podiums would be very based. They're two of the guys who usually refuse to slurp and try even if they don't have the legs.

Gotta get some shortcuts for the accents.
Tronchon nowhere to be seen.
Tismbert IN THE MUD.

do they actually watch this sport. this is exactly what everyone expected to happen. this is only suspicious if your retarded or dont pay attention

>>/3297/
They're really going off the rails.
Leave them without the council of elders to bully the stupid out of them and everyone's little internal schizo springs out, guns blazing.

>>/3222/
not a single outcome of this race changes my opinion of any of the riders. i do not think soler or any of the UAE boys are any better or any worse, vercher still cant perform to his ability, and PESCADOR will win five giro d'italia's

>>/3310/
Yeah, I feel the same. Honestly, half of UAE's supposed Tour team has been looking a bit suspect. I think they might need to make some changes. I've been much more impressed by Del Toro and Christen's domestique work.

>>/3311/
christen is far too green for the tour, monster watts but complete descendlet. not sure what's wrong with yates but assuming he gets back into form yates/almeida/soler/sivakov is still a million miles better than any of the other mtn trains, most importantly pissma's. do agree though, on pure form del toro probably deserves a spot over narvaez who's on the provisional

Nothing really beats going on a bike yourself
Safe from all the slurping, dopage, squeaking, frauds and schizos
I should probably start doping myself though, the watts are kinda lame this year, still more than a month till my RACING CALENDAR begins though

Optimized veloscraping results for superclasico, it took ages before, it is not super quick now but it is not taking 20 minutes because of forced minute timeouts by my IP.

> Pensez-vous pouvoir rééditer une telle campagne chaque année ?
> Ça dépend déjà quel grand Tour je vais choisir de courir. Si c'est le Giro (en mai) c'est plus difficile de faire une telle campagne. Si je devais courir le Giro cette année, je rentrerais à la maison au bout d'une semaine. On fera le programme en décembre, voir où on peut intercaler des plages de repos, des petites vacances pour ne pas se cramer. Mais je ne pense pas faire ça tous les ans, non.
Mads bro, we need to send RCS some money for next year

>>/3333/
its the most obvious transfer to make in the entire peloton next year. UAE need their proper flat classics ringer/sprinter/superdomestique mads needs a sprinting role in tdf (some)classics leadership and a big ol bag of money

>>/3336/
For now I have Brennan since the Seether sent a signal he will be a glorified Price-Pejtersen for 28.
But I don't like that rampa and it just too short and TT heavy to lose out on TT-GC points.

>>/3338/
> Seether sent a signal he will be a glorified Price-Pejtersen for 28
is this just a comment on his overall form or did he do one of those "im just here to test the legs" interviews

would be fun to do a reverse team to see how little points you can score using 100 coins. seeing thomas at 10 velocoins prompted this idea

now concerning the big schizma or split or however you want to call it. for me there's still one /cyc/, but it has 2 teams now. spamming screenshots of the races is much easier for me here, so might as well just continue to do so. the 4/cyc/ thread today was really dreadful during the race and schizoposting was on another level, with those actually getting answers (from themselves? from LLMs? from naive autists?), really didn't make me want to post there at all.
in the end it's just a matter of having 2 tabs open in the web browser, no big deal. we'll see how this turns out during Romandie and the Giro and then we still can adjust.
now to the autistic part. as we're a new (virtual) team, we need a name, sponsors and bike equipment.
yes, we lost rusbert to 4/cyc/. they made him an offer he couldn't refuse, they offered him ice cream. the type of ice cream that reminds him of his beloved Avocado. unfortunately that's not in our budget. rumors have it, that we're close to signing treinbert (formerly 'tismbert) instead. stay tuned, HLN will keep you up-to-date.

> team name

our involuntary new flags opens up new sponsoring possibilities. IKEA and treinbert bringing NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen) would make a start. there are talks with buttplugge going on, to support the ONEcycling and safeR initatives.
> bike equipment
our Chinese flag here can surely equip us with the latest tech
> jersey
pic related is the old 4/cyc/ one. it's time for a new one.

> 13 Tiesj BENOOT
> 20 Ben TOILET
> 31 Attila VALTER
meh, could have been worse. the team shouldn't have fucked dwarfs. if they continue like this, they have to fight for UCI points in the next 3 year period.

>>/3349/
>>/3352/
I wouldn't keep it against Rusbert too much, he arrived here very late, a couple days before 4chan reappeared so he must have expected this to be just a temporary thing to scrap once the old /cyc/ building is up.
Let him do the good work there (THERE, like it is an alien environment).
Endchan is an obvious added value, a premium for Onlyberts which did even seem like an effort, apparently it was a filter THOUGH.

On 4/cyc/ I am expecting a bit of a power vacuum and more of unhinged bullshit.
If you ever were a topdog of anything you know there are always subdogs trying to seize the means of what is the way do things over there.
Let them squabble, Suissebert is a very good steward of Endchan, hopefully you won't get burnout but with the banning options - unlikely;
Little makes me want to post there, maybe some of the circle of Bert thing and a bit of leftover bert chat, with those who are only there.

Anyway, it seems the Pan Am Road Race was a big shitshow, but HODEG has beaten the two Costa Rican heroes as well as Votla legend LINAREZ
Gaps indicate it was a BIG bunch sprint

>>/3391/
Thanks boss, unironically I may attend this if I don't forget or am not out.
One of the last movies I have watched, enjoyed and felt very mucj like in the golden era of movie watching in the 00s was In Bruges with FARRELL and GLEESON and FIENNES.
> oh shit, the movie is from the 00s, I just watched in the mid 10s

You now remember the story of the great uzbek campeon, Ulugbek SAIDOV, who famously won the prestigious uzbek time trial called "The Tour Oqtosh - Chorvoq - Mountain" by over 2 minutes.
Uzbekistan, along with other victories, scored many a points into the nations table.

Of course, eventually it was reported that he had more than a help from his papa on a motobike ahead of him.

The great campeon retired the same year at the young age of 28. That race never came back too.

>>/3393/
Cool, then might see you there, Monaco!
First I've seen In Bruges just after it came out. But we streamed it too.
It's not bad, but I liked The Guard with Gleeson better.

I've got a Memcoless team ready to go. It's probably retarded, but I think I might need to be bold in the stage races to overcome my superclassico deficit.

Tegsh-bayar BATSAIKHAN is your winner of the stage 1 (ITT) of Tour of Bostonliq, humbling the Li Ning Star galacticos. My boy KHALMURATOV 6th, BUIJK 71th some 11 minutes behind. Only done 38 km/h compared to the winner's 50km/h.

I did around a torty km ride to scout a potential innawoods location, pretty cool spot but there are visible trails made by motofags.
Beyond unhinged Polack cagies I despise every single cross and quad Polack. Wire lines should be stretched regularly on the trails they leave in forests and decapitation counters should be erected near all main forest road entries.

>>/3438/
> Current injuries: Out with pneumothorax (Crash in Amstel Gold Race)
he won 4 UCI points for finishing 52nd in the Catalunya GC. barely a thief at this point.

meanwhile Eschborn - Frankfurt startlist taking shape. might be an interesting velogoomblin with many different options
> inb4 everyone has jappe

> Copenhagen Sprint(1.UWT)
> 1.UWT
wtf is this fraudulent race? did they just create a brand new world tour race with ozempic money just for mads?

>>/3446/
I tink the GC mens will be sprinting everyday but that stage to. Depends only how many speedy not fatty guys will make it through that rampa or make it close enough to close it down.

>>/3442/
Nah, too explosive startlist.
Everyone has Neice and Velasco.
Your guy doperjaw is up, if he can't be decent here then the Italian autumn farming may be in danger.

>>/3451/
For me? That maybe another prologue specialist from Ineos who may solve the sprinter or no sprinter or sprinter but not BRENNAN for 12 conundrum.
WATSON Shmuel.

> Evenepoel also briefly returned to the "collective mistake" of his team in Liège-Bastogne-Liège in front of the microphone of VTM NIEUWS. "We were far too far at the foot of La Redoute. We didn't ride with the knife between our teeth enough towards that climb. That's a shame, because I had the legs to be with the second group. Then it would have been a different race."

alright this is getting completely out of hand with him, his DS should gag him the arrogant midget

>>/3463/
> "That was a big mistake by the team. We were too far behind La Redoute. My form was there, because my values at La Redoute were higher than the editions I won. With better positioning, I could have been with Healy and Ciccone (in the chase on Pogacar, ed.). It wasn't my best day and I felt a bit tired in the final, but it was still quite okay."

>>/3470/
I mean what was the plan of Soudal? remco won it twice, so they should know how to position him. they had one man at the front controlling the race together with UAE until Ineos did their knucklehead move. Remco was hiding in the middle of the peloton while the other teams managed to position their leaders at the front for la redoute.
remco didn't have the legs, so it doesn't even matter.

>>/3472/
ofcourse so he should shut up, guys like Van Wilder apparently already have good contract offers from other teams
you think he'll like seeing this? dude already spends half his season slaving for memco

> National coach Serge Pauwels is certain: “Thibau Nys can win all cycling monuments”

it's like every day they want to one up eachother with the most extravagant claims

>>/3482/
Serge is too much of a 'I'm happy to be there" kind of guy. He doesn't have the spine to tard wrangle the egos. Neither did Sven tbh, that guy massively exposed himself as midwit as a commentator now.

The state of 4/cyc/. Autismbert's disappointed reprimand for them to behave.
Them reveling in the vacuum and wearing old /cyc/ skin like a trophy.
Still think inevitable is gruppo compatto but surely not now.

>>/3502/
they already use the guy as literally just filler. every race they sent him to last year was one's where they didnt need a full team, which is exactly what you should do for a guy who cant actually do anything in a pro peloton. his retirement race will be finishing 100th in guangxi

shamelessly stolen from other thread. belgoid media has gotten to remco, as if it hasn't already. i do empathasize with public figures having all of there personal life known/scrutinized by the public at-large, but the worst thing he can do is comment on it. oumi got this midget by the balls

> "Then I'll have to beat Almeida, because he's the top favorite here. But I'm definitely gonna try. And with a place in the top ten I will not be disappointed. I want to push my limits.”
talks all this shit in the same interview about feeling good for the tour and then says he's "happy with a top ten" in a one week with 20k of TT against second-tier GC men. Im sure beating out bookman for 9th will signal he's on track for a good result at le toor

staying here too long will kill /cyc/ long term tbh. But i agree there's some annoyances in the other thread.

We call it "cul entre deux chemise" in france ( lit : ass between 2 shirts )

They just talk to themselves create massive reply chains plus the britt uses VPN’s it’s such a chore to just go through the thread lol.
Have such a hard time going back but in the end it’s the realization that 4chan was never good so having higher standards is wrong to have when utilizing the website it’s is what it is.

Eventually we’ll go back I mean I’m only here because other keep posting here anyway that’s my two cents

5% of the posters make like 50% of the posts now. And since they are schizophrenic retards that is not great. Maybe /cyc/ needs to die, so it can rise again. Like a phoenix from the ashes

let me post this here again, as the Hungarian admin like to remind us of his movie night next Saturday:
hi hungaryball or o'dilly dilly. we're trying to get one of our regular posters to post with us on >>>/bert/ , but he says he's rangebanned site wide on endchan right now. it wasn't one of my bans that I enacted on the board that caused it. he managed to post here just a couple of days earlier before 4chan was back up.

> Wuyts hopes that other top riders in the Tour will compete with Pogacar in places like Liège. He doesn't understand Vingegaard's choice of program in particular. "They're not coming, right? I can understand Roglic, that he says: 'I'm going to the Giro, I don't want to take any risks and at 35 this is the only way to win the Giro.' That's putting everything in perspective. But Vingegaard... where are you man?! Where are you?! Show yourself in a one-day race for once."

Went out for a quick forty in my new diaper undies/short shorts.
Pretty good, the chamois material is too soft but it still helps a lot.
The main downside is that it all clumps up during the ride so I stop having short shorts to 1/3 of my thigh, I look like I ride in literal underwear which ends just behind my ass.
Not my problem though.

ive come to a revelation: this sport is ruined by the runner's wives. jonas doesnt ride because his mommy doesnt let him, remco is hormonal because oumi withholds sex if he doesnt respond to belgian gutterjournalists, tadej doesnt do olympics because his gf gets left out. do you ever hear about van der poel's wife? i had to look up if she exists. that is how it should be. a PSA to pro runners; leave it in the house or go homo. they all seem oddly controlling. maybe rohan just had enough.

Apparently KOOIJ wants 3 million eurodollars and bring his friends BOL and HOOLE. Two teams are still in the running: RED BULL and DECATHLON AG2R

> Van Gucht is meanwhile receiving fierce criticism on social media. Under his latest Instagram post — which has nothing to do with the situation surrounding Evenepoel — several people accuse him of spreading lies and racism. “Gossip based on possible racist intentions... nice answer from Remco,” is one of the comments. “Remco put you in your place. And you don't deserve better than that!”, writes another Instagram user. Ruben Van Gucht does not want to comment further on the commotion on Tuesday morning. The VRT is busy gathering all the information about the riot. The public broadcaster will not respond until later today. At the very least, it shows that the matter is sensitive.
And the last one from my news round: Lelgium is on FIRE. Complete anarchy on the streets. I hope our Berts stay safe. National news will comment on the situation later today.

With Benoot likely leaving they really should just get rid of their classics "fats" and mount a proper train for Kooij. At least they'd have something to do in GTs without Jonas other than pretending that Cian or the Sheikh will do anything.

>>/3592/
Not even Wout. Mostly just van Baarle, Laporte (even if he's still good after he recovers, he's unnecessary with Brennan in the team), Valter and Tulett (he's ok but just doesn't make sense in this team).

Just realized I haven't been to 4/cyc/ yet.
Guess it will go as with my previous perceived deep connection to my old neighborhood when I moved after growing up there.
2 months and I was coming back like it was 2 years and I remember mainly early childhood not early adulthood, I don't want to go places I used to go and I have no one to talk to.

I didn't pick ROMEO but CASTRILLO, who should be better in the whole race.
Didn't expect this though. If somehow TEJADA is good to I will be annoyed at not adjust ONLEY-RAFFERTY for them.

> In the suppers group ' Remco Evenepoel “De ket van Schepdaal”' on Facebook – with more than 25,000 members – tensions were already rising considerably after Liège-Bastogne-Liège. After Evenepoel 's poor day in the Ardennes classic, the reactions flooded in. Among the expressions of support were also racist remarks, often linked to statements Evenepoel made about his wife's religion.

> A moderator reported that a racist message had been reported, after which the family announced that they would take action. "The legal service has been called in. It has to stop!", his father Patrick Evenepoel responded. That was before sports presenter and commentator Ruben Van Gucht made some striking statements about Evenepoel 's in-laws in the Canvas program 'De Afspraak'

Lmao they're fighting facebook boomers now

Frankly I have never optimized a team for a short race with a prologue for the prologue itself but for the end GC.
Perhaps this is the way to go, go for the prologue and if the parcours is right your guys will give you enough certain points until it all flips on a mountain or a real GC with a hill.

Had a slip today too, overcooked a corner but instinctively let the break go and my rear wheel stopped going faster and more horizontal than the front.

no bias here sir. much like today, all the blame is towards the eastern euros and hispanophones. maybe someday they will finally go after the real dopeurs (scandis)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knud_Enemark_Jensen

> Enemark Jensen was born in Aarhus. In 1960 he was the winner of the individual Nordic Championship, as well as a member of the Danish team that won the silver medal in the team time trial at that event.[1][2]

> The Olympic 100 km team time trial road race was held in 40 °C (104 °F) heat[3] on Viale Cristoforo Colombo in Rome. One of the four-man Danish team, Jørgen Jørgensen, dropped out of the race due to sunstroke after the first lap, necessitating that all three remaining Danish cyclists finish the race for the team not to be disqualified. Enemark Jensen told his teammates that he felt dizzy. Niels Baunsøe clutched his jersey, keeping him from falling, while Vagn Bangsborg held Enemark Jensen from the other side. Bangsborg sprayed Enemark Jensen with water, leading to an apparent improvement, but when Baunsøe let go, Enemark Jensen collapsed and fractured his skull on the pavement.[4]

> Enemark Jensen was brought by ambulance to a military tent near the finish line, with temperatures inside the tent reaching approximately 50 °C (122 °F),[5] where he died that afternoon without regaining consciousness. Prince Axel of Denmark, an International Olympic Committee member, was on his way to Enemark Jensen's bedside when Enemark Jensen died.[6]

> Oluf Jørgensen, the Danish cycling team's trainer, told Danish government investigators that he had given Enemark Jensen and some other cyclists Roniacol (nicotinyl alcohol), a vasodilator.[1][7] Enemark Jensen's autopsy was conducted at the Istituto di Medicina Legale. On 25 March 1961, the three Italian physicians who performed the autopsy submitted a final report stating that Enemark Jensen's death was caused by heatstroke, and that no drugs were found in his body.[8][9] The complete autopsy report was never made public. Years later, Alvaro Marchiori, one of the doctors who conducted the autopsy, claimed that they had "found traces of several things", including amphetamine.[9]

Enemark Jensen's death led the International Olympic Committee to form a medical committee in 1961 and institute drug testing at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France, and at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico.

Kek, they started testing at the olympic because some dane took amphet and was a heatlet

> Does Vansevenant feel a little guilty or responsible? "If you have the legs, you can always move up on La Redoute," he notes.
Remking sisters?

> Still, Lefevere says that he has sat down with the Roodhooft brothers. "I have a mutual friend with a restaurant in Knokke and he said: 'You should talk to those brothers.' I wanted to do that. That friend closed the doors to the veranda."

Lefevere was clear right away. "I said: 'I'll just come straight to the point: I'm not getting any younger and shouldn't we merge?' Christoph seems to be the more 'aggressive' of the two. He immediately said: 'I know what you want: Mathieu.' Of course I wanted that, but I also said that we could contribute something."

> It turned out to be too difficult a story. "Too much had to change and a few had to be thrown out. The conversation was over before it started. I sat down with Philip alone again, but he said that they would sign with Canyon for four years. That was the end of the story."

> Lefevere would also have liked to work with Wout van Aert, but when the rider got into a bitter divorce with his old team, Lefevere didn't want to get his hands dirty. "I left Wout. He was with Nuyens and started complaining a bit. His manager started asking other teams."

> Van Aert's manager was invited by Lefevere. "But I had taken Frank Vandenbroucke away from Lotto in 1994. I didn't want to go through that again. If Wout had a paper that he was free, then I wanted him. He chose to sign for Jumbo-Visma, which resulted in him losing the case."

kinda like the superleague was in footy
I think the only ones still against are UAE and the french shitter teams

Yes, it is scraping PCS, maybe adding this one little list would be ok manually since PCS is always the slowest to update them but for now I am waiting to run what I have automated.

Burgerautismbert may have overcooked that Remco pick.
We shall see what the last two stages bring but this is my level of early season hole to dig yourself out from.

I don't know too much about it, always felt like it was a lot of boomer BaCk In ThE dAy stories, very similar to Polish football team in the 1970s and 80s when every game HAD to be legendary, plus the overall awareness of it being a worker's paradise ersatz of the real thing in France.
Now being older now, bet there are LOADS of stories from these races and many parcours to remember.

>>/3926/
It was, same with our runners although the most decorated are well into dying off.
Just because it was a response to the degenerate west, crude, isolated and overlooked by party commissars, doesn't mean that the runners and the crews gave less shit and it had any less soul than Molteni with their guy or Matje's gramps.

Eurosport Polska commentators, now one of them is left, the other one was kinda forced into retirement, were in the business back then and they still will reminisce and tell stories from time to time.

Bet it had to be a big deal, back in the day.

Another beautiful day in the park. Got some fun laps in. I do have to say that I am REALLY enjoying the fashions of the summer so far. This will be the year of tummies and thighs, to be sure.

Also, please be advised that /WORLD TOUR WINE/ will continue on the real /cyc/ due to 4pleb searchability and the off-topic nature of those posts.

Holy shit, good thing I have checked because I was sure it was going to take place in June.
I am watching ciclismo live today at the fabled XXXVIII OGÓLNOPOLSKI WYŚCIG KOLARSKI "O PUCHAR WÓJTA GMINY CHRZĄSTOWICE".
Last year the notorious Kacper GIERYK had to dope himself to rise above the relentless and glamorous field of his peers.

> Contrairement à ce qu’avaient initialement annoncé les organisateurs de l’Eschborn-Francfort 2025, la formation Visma-Lease a Bike ne sera finalement pas au départ de la course allemande qui aura lieu ce jeudi 1er mai. Il faudra patienter encore un peu avant de revoir Olav Kooij en compétition, mais le temps presse avant le Giro.
jumbo wouldn't bother doing the race without Kooij, pretty weak
