Wines have been about 80% procured for the Giro. Maybe just two more wines for stages.

And I'm considering making the final stage from each GT a special bottle from that country rather than something tied to the route of a specific stage.

Okay berts Groves or Kooij or Magnier? I kinda trust Groves the most out of these but I have no idea what to spend that extra velocoin on, otherwise my team is stacked

Arensman asked what book he's reading this giro:

I wish PCS would separate women's and men's cycling into different tabs. I hate getting baited into thinking ciclismo is happening and then find out it's a womens' race.

 >>/6047/
All they need to do is make a button in the top to switch between men and women. They could even make the women's tab the default to please reddit and then let my cookies remember I only use the men's tab.

It's weird how nobody's giving two shits about DNF Martinez this time despite being second last year. I think him and Hindley can both well ride into top10 even when doing domestic duties for Rog.
 >>/6058/
 >>/6057/
Jokes on you, I found a way to have both Poels AND Hindley in the team. The stage can't start soon enough so that I am finally free of this adjusting nonsense.

 >>/6079/
Oh it is not going to be good for a year at least.
Wish it is more of its own thing than an amalgam of other games, Stellaris is really mediocre, didn't play CK3 yet.

 >>/6082/
as long as they dont ruin the mechanics that made EU4 so addicting (colonization especially) it should be good, although the new UI makes it seem like one of those scam mobile games. CK3 is far too roleplay heavy, tries to too much to stray away and discourage the main gameplay loop which is fighting wars and expanding

 >>/6121/
For me Gee was always in, but it was hard to think about Hindley/Landa vs slightly cheaper climbers and swapping Rogla for Ayuso. Let's see how it goes, I hope Roglic wins anyway. And it was frustrating to pick Kooij but I think he will score more points than some GC rider I could've afforded like Arensman or Del Toro. We'll see how wise it was in the end

Issa recency bias. He was just better than Arensman, he was Foss (hé) tier in P-N, he ended up high because he was an afterthought in a fuga.
Only one who may really hit off is Cararat but I think top watts mean top mass, body language and bucal fat doctor didn't see anything convincing in the afternoon sun.
I also hope not from a strategic reason of me not having him and a lot of people do have him. Schadenfreude and hoping neighbor's cow dies is ultimate.

I'm more interested in Roglic vs Ayuso TT tomorrow.
Ayuso isn't Mas or Landa or some other TT'let that Roglic can just casually put 30 seconds into. If anything Ayuso is a better TT 'er than this version of Roglic.
Ao for once Roglic might need to be the aggressor...could be fun.

i have never seen a sportsman so universally coddled and patronized as wout. his team, the media and a large amount of fans treat him like a relative with dementia that you just need to be positive around and agree with them

 >>/6509/
I think remco shares some part of the blame with his ridiculous behavior/interviews, but wout doesn't say much. His team maybe but it's mostly colomnist being delusional lately. He should probably give a call to Jan though

 >>/6537/
I guess it doesn't really matter because no one expects him to control any climb (as shown by half his team being a sprint train), but that's a fairly big hit for Memco. He might have to fetch his own bottles in mountain stages, if Van Wilder isn't around.

Back from a short 4 days vacations in czech republic.
just wanted to say to our local friend that i hope this place stays like this for a long time. Enjoy what you have.

My only gripe ( and i say this as someone who travelled across all continents ) is how cold you motherfuckers are. Any service industry worker either acts like they hate you or want to kill themselves.
People aren't especially friendly in everyday life either ( shoving you without saying anything ). Apparently its a cultural thing, but that's a bit disturbing.

But i do respect going for risky picks, it could also very well kwab everyone

 >>/6588/
we'll see. I think having a pure sprinter for six credits who has had some decent results this year is fine.

Pizza al taglio. Pretty good too, if a bit less fancy than the napolitaine style. Rurale Italy you'll eat like a king for 7-8 euro in one of those. Perfect for post ride if you ask me

> Pizza al taglio
Doesn't that mean just pizza in pieces or cut pizza?
I know there are far more styles than the very thin plus puffy crust.
Hey, it is a style indeed, no wonder some random Polaks loved it, this is what we have had before "real" pizza came in.
Rectangular, yeasty, fat, dry and doughy pizza pie with ham, cheap cheese, shrooms and bad ketchup, made by mom or babcia.

 >>/6671/
I loved that variety too, a Polish take on it at least.
Nothing was better than a huge "American style" pizza with all that grease, on a Sunday afternoon after watching football and sunbathing while drinking beer with the boys whole day.
But we do not count it to real styles.

 >>/6838/
I guess if they control the race all day so the breakaway isn't far off they wont have to drill the climb too hard for Mads. I just think all the sprint teams whose sprinters got dropped day 1 wont help Trek and neither will Bora who will probably like some shitter to take the jersey.

 >>/6852/
Alternatively they could just go for the Red Bull sprint after 88 km. But yeah, it could be a tricky situation if a break forms with some strong climber types

 >>/6868/
but it's not training, he just gave an interview on how he's psyopping himself into being bad
his team is failing him
at DSM he rode in an attacking carefree manner and had success, not a world beater by any means but still a good rider

I ordered the wrong favero charger, it does not fit over the assiomas I have. so I broke open the case, taped the +/- contacts directly on the exposed pins on the assiomas and put the magnets on to keep good contact. its gypsy electronics but it works

Ayuso is still yet to have the best of all of his teammates in a GT ITT.

He is a good time trialist, but you'd think he is Pogacar or Vingegaard level the way some people talk about his chances every time there's a time trial. In reality, his best TT results are still from beating out of form guys in March or April.

Bora were clearly planning to peak for this.
Whole team did ok in TT and they were on point yesterday too.
Maybe shitting on them was a bit premature.

I cut my BIG ride a bit short at only 62km and 700m vert but the winds were very blustery today and I was getting very sketched out on fast descents.

In related news, I did hit a new speed record of 87 km/h during a descent with tailwind

RedBull™ bonification sprint is before the alb d'huez tomorrow, if RCS wanted any fun they'd put it at the top of the climb. realistically doesn't play a factor, if there's inexplicably no break at that point in the race Mads can secure pink though.

 >>/6938/
I think they'd have to. I think it's also the most fun outcome for tomorrow as it opens the UAE betrayalfest path. I've also thought that tomorrow's stage isn't too different from the Tour stage that Hindley won, but with more flat at the end which might kill any fun.
