Very finishy team Bertele, I think there just too many good climbers who will run amok that your Aulars and Arambarus and probably Laportes will hold but we shall see.
 >>/65935/
That's what I thought as the worst case scenario too. Still would readjust IZAGIRRE in if the teams were open.

And what's up with MAŁECKI, this guy had a heart condition and was supposed to quit racing. Are these cardiovascular issues now a pill, some good blood juice and a good night sleep to shoo away?

 >>/65937/
Very crafty Bernd, you're on a roll.
 >>/65938/
Nobody is buying this retard's stock, unless he wins, fools everyone again
next time and goes back to his retarded self. Plus one mediocre incident and he is kicked out.

 >>/65947/
I saw journo claims that he was riding for Uno x in 2020 but he's no listed anywhere on PCS so I doubt them.
Regardless he can't pick that up that's why guys like Osborne are riding gravel/zwift despite ftp well over 6 w/kg

Awww fuck fuck fuck, I fucking knew it but started to listen to you guys and replaced Dopo with Remco plus some adjoostments.
My instincts are so nice, toot toot, just not the confidence yet.

> Bernd realizing shit ain't as easy as it looks
I am now at year tree and finally I am reliably putting it together, still will get influenced by unintended psyops.
It just takes time to gauge how to look at rider characteristics with enough resolution and how to interpret noombers from PCS.

haven't paid much attention to the olympics the last couple of days, apparently it's still going on. short track is about to start.
meanwhile Czech Republicans blew it really hard today in ice hockey.

> Under cover of anonymity, the speeches are much less weighed up. "It's an absolute shame," said a team boss. How am I going to approach sponsors and tell them that there is no more doping when we see this? It's rude. The Italian team is more and more sulphurous. Already, his Olympics was depressing with the Italian Francesca Lollobrigida (two gold medals) who surprised everyone in the corners.

> Another member of the French team does not say anything else. "We all feel a little stupid," he squeaks. Let them do a hold up in the Team Pursuit, why not. But they do not have the decency to hide a little the next day. There is a sense of impunity reminiscent of the dirty 2000s. But obviously, as long as you don't have proof, you keep quiet...

So anyway, we know the deal. Next: 1500m (M). VINDERBUD:

Finnberts, how can we stop winning? First two dominant bronze medals in nordic combined, then good efforts in biathlon and cross country skiing. Now we beat the suisseberts in ice hockey while bertaczech is in the mud. Today we will win another medal in nordic combined, most likely another bronze, and I am confident in our ability to win a bronze in hockey as well. Dare I say, this season we will also break out in cycling and Miko Pirinen and Kasper Borremans will win a cheeky podium in some kermiskoers.

 >>/66176/
Poor sports culture in general compared to Norge these days, the number of youth doing any sports whatsoever is miniscule compared to Norway where every kid does sports for fun. Add the fact that most talented kids choose ice hockey and football and floorball, not endurance sports. So the talent pool for good xc skiers is very small these days. Oh, and most Finns live in the South where usually the winters are abysmal these days (this year has been a nice exception).

I have
> Hunt wheels with Conti 5000
> Mavic wheels with gravel tyres (forma elipsoid, not pleasant to ride)
> the original Fulcrum racing wheel, but ONLY the front since I lent the rear one to a friend of mine after his exploded
Clearly the solution would be to get a new cheap rear winter wheel, demount the gravel tyres and mount the gravel tyres.
That explains why I haven't done it, I was just lazy.

Well, that was a true Bertacek story if ever I saw one.
Originally I order the Mavic wheels as replacement for the OG gravel wheels that looked like pic related.
Then I ordered the Mavic wheels with Center Lock while I had 6bolt discs (or vice versa) so I had to return and reorder.
Then the wheels were not really true so I ordered a tension meter and you can guess how it went.

 >>/66183/
Some mavic wheels come with some funky threadlocker nipples that are impossible to true. A few months ago I was helping a guy true 3 lose spokes on a mavic aksium rear wheel and we just couldn't do it, nipples with threadlocker and some corrosion makes for an immovable object. Cut and fully replaced all spokes after we destroyed the first one.
How do spokes with stuck nipples go loose in the first place is the other question

 >>/66186/
 >>/66189/
I am thinking of that for 2027 season a lot
To use it as a primary bike with road tires, while enjoying easy gears on the most demanding rampas. With extra gravel wheels+tires as well ofcoursh.
And then turn me current canyon into a dedicated zwift bike.

The last mayor of NYC signed an executive order as he was leaving restricting bike speed to 24 km/h in Central Park. This would effectively end amateur cycling in the park if enforced.

New York Cycle Club (to whom I just made a generous donation in addition to me yearly dues) filed a lawsuit yesterday over the legality of this.

What a nightmare. They better fix this by the time riding weather comes around.

> "I'm not someone who weighs my food," MVDP responds when asked if he follows a very strict diet. "But I've been doing this for so long now that I know what's good and bad for me. I also know what portions I should eat."

> It's especially important to avoid certain things, Van der Poel says. "I try to avoid alcohol during the season. Sometimes I have a glass of wine on Sunday evening, but I never drink too much during the season," he says. "I also avoid red meat. That really makes a difference. And I really try to eat early in the evening. That makes a big difference in how well I sleep."
> Van der Poel has more ways to improve his sleep quality (and thus his recovery). "Reading before bed helps me recover better and fall asleep faster. And before I crawl into bed, I always take magnesium," says the Alpecin-Premier Tech leader, who was also asked if the golf course is his favorite place to recover during a rest day. He didn't have to think long about the answer: “That's right!”

 >>/66237/
I don’t agree with the red meat thing, on the contrary it makes me feel so good both digestion wise, mental wise and strength wise but to each their own I guess.

But the eating early is so important.
I recently started eating at 19h00 ( I sleep at like 00:30-01:00 and it makes my sleep so good.
Obviously don’t snack in between. Your last bite of food shall be taken 5 hours or so before sleep. Try it Bert it’s awesome

Looks like a good day ao Algarve for """sport""" not watcher, again Bergerburt, again Kurwabert, for once for Malawibernd, don't know if we have Lennergybernd here, he did fine, Patjebert also gud.
Not very gud Rusbert who really didn't put it together after the hot start, Autismbert will also not be very (You)ie today.

Give us more MSR kino hopefully.
Rhe guy could've gotten more out of his career going on the attack every now and then, I feel like he starts many races with little or no intention to do anything. That was okay when you would default win every TT but now that he has actual competition it kinda makes him look like a kwab

I am looking at the selection of super cheap rims since I really want something I will only use couple of times a year during this shitty state of roads. And the selection of cheap rims at least in me faking country is so abysmal. If it's not carbon, it's not being sold. Only one vendor has something resembling a selection and it's either Mavic or Fulcrum. The cheapest option is about $200 for a rear wheel. Riding a mixed brand rims would be silly though.
Whatever.

 >>/66372/
Like the others mentioned, you ordered your bike from Deutschland, might as well have a look at the wheel sections at bike24, bike-components or bike-discount. If you trust rcz from luxemburg not spamming your spam folder and leaking your credit card number to the dark net, have a look at their daily newsletter for super cheap surplus bike parts.
DT Swiss wheels of the 1600 series, ususally the road bike PR1600 and CX can be found on sale regurarly and those hubs are serviceable. Just don't buy them for the regular price.

 >>/66372/
cheap alu disc wheels kinda disappeared in the last couple years, a lot of bikes come stock with some dt swiss set that's often sold for like 150€ used you could get that although not really much cheaper innit
but yeah even component companies abandoned the low end market as much as they possibly could

You also don't know what you get outside of favorites, that's why you pay the premium. Pogicaca is not the most efficient pick points_won/bux_paid outside of GTs but he is a guarantee of coursh.
You're getting less and less of that the further down the picking order you get and the more you saturate your team with GC riders the more diminishing returns kick in.
It is at the 5-6th of GC guys (who are non-trivial to pick) who become interchangeable with 1-2 sprinters if there are enough sprints (who are trivial to pick) - no citation or formula for that, just eyeballing it.

Of course then it is goombling essence so risks, decisions and stinky compromises.

And I'm not moving much higher in overall GC, you still may win it, Tismbert is not far off, /pinot/ as well and Hessmanbert who now only does what Axelgaard says kek.
Hope to keep the top 10, great job bertsh.

> Kragh Andersen crashed in the first stage of the Tour de la Provence, landing on the verge. The motorcyclist following him didn't wait or report the crash, Norsgaard explained. His account doesn't clarify whether the motorcyclist saw Kragh Andersen.

> The classics specialist's fall also went unnoticed in the peloton, leading him to conclude that no one was likely to spot him. The Dane eventually managed to right himself against the guardrail, allowing a team car to see him on the side of the road. According to Norsgaard, Mads Pedersen, who crashed in the first stage of the Tour of Valencia, also lay unnoticed on the side of the road while unable to reach his team radio.

GPS tracking, the thing they've been meandering about since that Swiss girl laid dying in some forest for over an hour.
> tracker's not moving, radio the team car asking if he swapped bike or if they can reach him, no? okay someone go check the area the tracker is in to see if he's lying in some ditch unconscious

> On his previous arrival at the summit on Tuesday, Evenepoel had slept poorly due to an air conditioning problem. Today, he'll be fresh at the start.

> "Although the alarm did go off at 3 a.m. in the room, but that was the case for everyone, so it wasn't a problem," laughs our compatriot.

excuse set, he will DNF today

> On a personal level, it's a special time for Evenepoel. His wife Oumi and her family are observing Ramadan.

> "For me, that's impossible under these circumstances, with the sport and the heat. But there's definitely an emotional significance," Evenepoel concludes before the final climbing exam of the week.

this guy really is fucked up, I didn't think he was this far gone

 >>/66609/
> I don't think something as simple as a GPS tracker should be just for the rich teams
Me neither but if it's an easy and effective solution that could save your big investment like Fats P wouldn't the big boys already have done it on their own? Not saying UCI shouldn't implement it but riders think they are too slow they could ask their own team administration for it.

> Evenepoel can be brief about that final climb. "AG2R attacked very quickly. That showed it was going to explode immediately. I just rode my pace and came back when it quieted down for a moment."

> Evenepoel himself briefly decided to attack. "That was a testing moment, but Tiberi responded immediately. If they give me a bit more freedom there, it might be a different race. That was the only moment I could do anything. After that, it was all about riding as hard as possible up the climb and limiting the damage more or less."

I didn't explode like Wednesday. But it wasn't my best week. All in all, it was a good test to ride as fast as possible up here for 20 minutes."
