honestly some juicy chutes is about the only entertainment we could get out of this stage
alright the sprint teams may still chute but its not the same if there's no gc on the line

WW2 battle when stupid Pol-acks again took the brunt of a suicidal attack on the monastery, eventually taking it.
There's a pretty scenic cemetery as well, guess now we have signs in Polish.
Heroism good and all, let them rest in peace, but there are too many Monte Cassino, Arnhem, Somosierra, too few Vienna, Grunwald, Chocim.

moto gate, all of lidl is fuming

He does say that he didn't understand that Mas was talking about aiming for the podium before the race. And that he may have felt good in training but that the races are the real test and Mas has failed that test. Basically, he says that Mas was huffing hopium to give himself confidence.

Grand Prix Antwert Port Epic / Sels Trophy tomorrow

Last year it was a BIG upset (a TSD, one might say) with Timo KIELICH winning sprint a duet over Rasmus WALLIN.
WALLIN has been then unceremonially FIRED from UNO-X mobility and has been scraping the barrel's end at various danish clubs.

gonna try to make it to Montréal next year for the race, we'll be busy moving this year

no walnut oil, I've never added it and the walnuts do a great job infusing through the bread on their own (if you do use it, add sparingly and mix it when you mix the main dough)

> The Enhanced Games (TEG) is an upcoming multi-sport event. Founded by Australian businessman Aron D'Souza, it plans to allow athletes to use performance-enhancing substances without being subject to drug tests
I wonder how many of our beloved riders will participate in this event.

> Italian team Swatt Club (CT)
> it has 4 (four) danes
> two of them with the last name ANDERSEN (not related)
> it also has two italians named GALIMBERTI (also not related)
> one of the GALIMBERTI's has a twin brother who is retired since end of 2024
this team is too fishy and there's something illegal going on, bust them

ah okay well I guess for front shifting its not that impossible after all- > RD cable died after 40k
I talked to some trusted oldfags and ancientfags irl about this and they said that back in the day with shifters that had cables exist like so getting 15-20k out of a rear cable was not unheard of especially when you rode terrain with reduced shift frequency (flat or long climbs) but they all deemed that impossible after that got changed. One of them still rides mechanical and he gets 7-10k per rear cable but we also have to shift very frequently all ride here.

my googling said 2-3 years, sometimes more
my average ride looks like this, i switch gears frequently
my childhood Favorit I still have at one of my summerhouse's will have a cable that still works after all these years, probably, but it is the old shifting on the frame

I only do with my dad when I visit home (he exclusively rides gravel in a Gall-esque position with mirrors on his handlebars and helmet, riding an $8k Specialized gravel bike that he doesn't maintain at all, up to the point of asking me what the purpose of oiling the chain was)

 >>/88760/
I don't know how they get there but some time ago I encountered a van slowly driving through the woods at a point that was at least 5k away from the nearest road
I also encounter motorbikes and quads frequently and they are so fucking annoying
