It's been years at this point, IDK how long precisely. I'm still weak and kinda edge sometimes but otherwise, nothing. It sort of evens out after a while, but I don't think the mental energy associated with it ever goes away. That's the whole idea of sublimation. If you stick with it that feeling of being worked up basically gets redirected toward action, discipline, creativity, being less self-pitying and narcissistic.
I can only recommend it. I think finally succeeding in quitting is one of the best things I've ever done. I don't want to ever go back. If you are at all spiritual or religious I think you will find it purifies your soul... But even on the more concrete level, I'm sure it would help get a GF or wife, and make progress in career or whatever other goals you have.
You are better able to see women as flawed but lovable creatures, instead of all the hatred for them common these days. (That hatred is just sick and stupid and degrades you, after all.)
