By releasing carbon from it's imprisonment beneath the earth we are only spreading life through the world. If we release all the carbon the world will turn into a lush and fertile place like it was and has many times been before the carbon was trapped. These fossil fuel critics are death mongers, we must burn all the fossil fuel to realise all the life they contain. Additionally Diamonds are made from Carbon so adding carbon to the atmosphere is really adding diamond to the atmosphere.

I had the sudden impulse to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion as I have not seen it and it seems to be quiet popular, I'll write about each episode as I watch it.

Episode 01.

Seems fairly average so far, generic boy(he was younger than I thought he would be) is called to save the world and only he can do it for some reason, he is hesitant about it for some reason as well(why would a young boy not be thrilled at that kind of opportunity?). Nothing interesting happened here really but it's the first episode, they are just setting the scene.

Episode 02

Not that appealing again, there was a lot of nothing happening but slowly. I had planned to watch more but could not bring myself to watch another episode tonight. I thought that the mech would be easy to operate(why else send a kid with no training into one) but no, he instantly falls flat on his face in a machine that even they say costs the budget of a small nation, what genius. I didn't like the fight scenes either, it seems like they brought together the worst aspects of normal fighting and mech fighting and none of the good ones.

Quite silly. The way they were humping from ship to ship, the fact that the water creature targetted ever ship at range BUT the one that had the EVA on it that could only fight up close, the fact that they fished the NVA and the beast up like it was nothing and of course the fact that they fired battleship cannons underwater(the pressure would just cause the gun to explode), it was all stupid, even for anime. Asuka was pretty bland as well for all the love people have for her(but so was Rei).

So these beings are smart enough to turn into invincible nano machines, corrode their way into a top security base and then hack the system to cause it to self destruct yet they are not smart enough to turn into an invincible cat or a virus or something and assassinate the 3(three) people that can actually fight against them in the robots and yet who also live defencelessly in the open world and would be completely unable to defend form that.

Some backstory here but it makes little sense. I don't think it's normal to react to being called a ba-san by a child like that, but then that seems to be a recurring theme. The characters don't react to situations in a realistic manner or act in a realistic manner to begin with, they dramatise everything but not in a good way.

Also, Ritsuko is a died haired trollop. Disappointing.

Got even more schizo and Asuka is a trollop.

It got quite dumb, well I guess it was always dumb. Why would presenting a naked woman to the council appease them? The last scene made no sense either, just more forced drama. It's very silly.

It was actually so ridiculous that it became funny, I was laughing through much of it.

These were not so funny, just stupid.

In conclusion.

I didn't like it, the first 20 or so episodes were bland and a bit silly and then it just went stupider from there. I was disappointed by Rei and Asuka as well, they are often spoken of and referenced and people often raise them on some pedestal as if they are the archetype of blue haired and red haired characters but I actually didn't think they were really even fit for those character types they were supposed to have inspired. Rei was just boring and Asuka was a generic immature brat or even a trollop(although in some ways she felt more like an immature western/3d brat than an anime one). There was a fair amount of forced drama in this that made little sense and was poorly executed and then the end was four episodes of garbage much of which was just repetitive notions on loneliness and feelings of worthlessness that even Naruto handled better.

Oh and there was a movie ending as well so I watched that. Alos bad.

I don't believe what the science people say about induced drag. If air is a fluid then why does it matter whether you are going up or down or staying level? You will be opposing the same force. And how does low pressure behind the aircraft slow it down? Or how does creating a vortex behind it slow it down? This is all made up.

I spent the last few days reading Rozen Maiden. The new Manga isn't very impressive, it's basically just like the 2013 anime(well that anime is based on the first half of that manga after all). I can kind of understand why it was never animated and why nobody talks about it. I can't find Rozen Maiden Zero anywhere either.

Lately I have been playing Nioh 2. It's okay. Basically it's the same as Nioh only you can play as a girl and when you kill Youkai you can take their hearts and use their abilities as a special attack of your own. It seems like maybe it's harder than the first Nioh however, so far I have only defeated three bosses and they all seem to have a very large amount of health and hit quite hard(much like Nioh but worse it seems). Although the fist Nioh was harder at the start and wasn't that hard later on.

Also, Hideyoshi is voiced by a person that plays Hideyoshi in a Taiga drama(one called Gunshi Kanbei) and modelled on that man as well, I thought that was nice.

I finished Fate Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia. It wasn't good, it has nice effects but the main character is awful, the plot is bad and the writing is bad. The protagonist is an issue I have with many Fate Animes, they are boring, wimpy and don't actually do anything.

Sometimes Fate can be good but often it's really bad, I think this is because it must be such a large company that makes it that different people with different ideas are behind each project.

I finished Boku no Hero Acadamia season 4.

It sums up what I have long thought about this series, it has good production but everything else is mediocre. The production went a long way to mitigate the faults it has and a liberal helping of tournament style events helped too(they are always fairly easy to write and also fairly popular. How many were there so far? 3? 4?). Without these tournament events the issues the anime has start to become more apparent. The protagonist is bland, the supporting characters are hit and miss but mainly miss, there are too many of them and they have a lot of crossover, the antagonists are even worse, they have no goal and don't feel like a villain organisation or a threat at all, just a gang of delinquents. The story has not real progression, this last season was basically filler and because of how simple the world is, the lack of any real goal on the part of the protagonist and the lack of any goal on the part of the antagonists there isn't much room for future development regarding this. I was never a huge fan of the series but I expected more.
