What is the difference between eating spaghetti with a spoon and picking a booger out of your nose? Checkmate, atheist
> If you don't have free will, then that means absolutely everything is pointless. You're suffering for absolutely no reason at all.
We suffer because God wants us to suffer.
> If I believed I didn't have free will, I would just try to kill myself to try to stop my suffering
But you wouldn't be able to unless God made your suffering unbearable to you. One can only act according to his own personal inclinations. You can't seek death unless life is unviable to you. Likewise, a person can't seek redemption unless they feel remorse, and a person can only feel remorse if God made them remorseful
