지난 몇 년간 저희는 Tor보다 VPN의 이점이 특정 상황에서 사용자에게 매우 중요하다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 이제 "VPN 브라우저(tails#19465)" 또는 "시스템 VPN + Tor 브라우저(tails#19901)"와 같이 Tor 대신 VPN을 사용할 수 있는 옵션을 제공할 준비가 되었습니다.

Temporary conclusions from April 2023
Historically, we only considered VPNs combined with Tor not to loose the strong
anonymity of Tor by default, either "VPN before Tor (for connectivity) (tails#17843 - closed)" or "Tor before VPN (tails#5858 - closed)".
Over the years, we realized that the benefits of VPNs over Tor are really
important for our users in some situations. We're now ready to consider
providing some option to use a VPN instead of Tor in some cases, either as a
"VPN browser (tails#19465)" or "System VPN + Tor Browser (tails#19901)".
We need more research before making a decision between the 2. (tails#19902)
