Interesting idea for an OS. I have not followed the story very much. Apparently he is a brilliant sort of coder with a semi-debilitating mental problem.

He was struck by a train in Dalles Oregon and Died around 9pm on Saturday August 11th.

There are currently active threads on 4chan, 8chan, kiwi farms, and redit debating whether or not he's dead or alive. 

From the evidence (his sister's facebook posting and memorializing his facebook account) it appears likely that he died. 

It appears as though he posted his last video from a library in Dalles Oregon then walked to the train tracks and was intentionally or accidentally struck by a train. 

Say a prayer for Terry, so that he can go to heaven, if possible.

Thats tragic. I don't know why he was always live streaming though. I don't want to say the trolls lead him down that road but from what little attention I have paid to the Terry Davis saga - He was kicked out of his house while streaming saying something about niggers and raising his hand to his father. Would that have happened if he was not so open to influence? I will pray for him and his family this is very sad.

The guy was a genius.  It's a shame, and a waste.  His OS is now left unfinished.  Hopefully people pick it up and turn it into something more usable. 

If he hadn't been kicked out of his home, he'd be alive and programming right now.  He wouldn't have been kicked out if he hadn't been feeding the trolls online with his streaming.  Its a tragedy and a shame.

The flip side is that you wouldn't have heard of his OS if he hadn't been streaming and feeding the trolls.

A man in his late 40s was killed when he was struck by a train Saturday night just after 9 p.m. in the area of First and Terminal streets, according to The Dalles Police Department.

It is the third such fatality since last December, and the fourth since 2014.

The man’s name was not being released pending notification of next of kin, said The Dalles Police Capt. Jamie Carrico. It appears he is from out of town, he said.

There were no signs as of now that the man was intoxicated, and witnesses “saw him straddle the rail”  Carrico said. At least one person saw the crash happen, he said. The trains also have video that would show the crash, Carrico said...

Suicide.  He stood in front of the train with his legs spread wide.  He didn't trip and fall or accidentally walk the wrong way in the dark.

I can imagine him awkwardly straddling the rail. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.The worst part of all of this is you don't normally get to go to heaven if you where suicidal. Maybe god will make an exception.

That may seem a little anal but I remember hearing this thing called follow the white rabbit. It was by someone who was like a white nationalist guy and he kept repeating "do not advocate violence". It got stuck in my head.

I agree, don't give them (The EU) a reason to raid the server room with their draconian laws.  

The way that we win isn't through violence, it's by making the opposition irrelevant.  

They want to read my email?  They can't it's encrypted.
They want to control my computer?   They can't it's minimalist free software running on Free Hardware.
They want to tell me what to think?  They can't, I turn them off, I change the channel. 

Finance alternative media platforms if you don't like the media.  Turn off the tube and read a book, or take up a physical exercise activity, like swimming or water polo.

If you want to "rally the people", then do it around the banner of freedom.  Start with Free software and Free computing hardware solutions.  Go out and rally the people around Free Software and Free Computing for a start. 

Reason, logic and good rhetoric is far more persuasive than violence.  You can win hearts and minds with the truth and with good argumentation.   Start by identifying the problem and then proposing alternative solutions, like for instance alternative media, community news letters, pamphlets, etc.  Don't begin with rocks, sticks, clubs and guns. Wrong approach.  

Violence is the very last resort and only after violence has been unjustly applied to you or your loved ones without cause.  Also know the consequences, are you ready and willing to be surrounded by a tactical team and die for your beliefs about the media? Or is there a simpler more peaceful solution?

They called the police Captain and the Reporter.  It was him.  He's dead.

Now that the initial shock of him being gone has set in. I wonder if the cianiggers he was always talking about programmed him to do that?.The only thing I know about his politics is his rabid incessant disgust of "cia niggers" (strange term that sprouted  last year) It seems like the kind of thing you read about like with the mk ultra they have a suicide personality and maybe he was triggered into that alternate persona and did that. I have no idea how that would even work but going along with his worldview it is a possibility he was suicided.At least that is a fit way to romanticize the morbid situation he was in.

I didn't realize how little I knew about his antics until i saw this doc someone put together on youtube. I kind of adjusted the brilliant programmer idea i had he went overboard many times. The oracle idea is neat though. Its even more of a shame that he died now that he reminds me of my own posting writing styles.
