It's true that MiHoYo designs have always been a seemingly eclectic mess (that I like a lot of them regardless) but I feel like it's just gotten worse, which gives me this uncanny notion that it's less and less human involvement behind the wheel of these designs.
Not only that, I think you're not giving credit to what kind of AI slop was being pushed out two years ago.  Please keep in mind two years ago was LATE 2022 which was exactly when all the AI slop became BIG on not just the industry level, but when the tools became readily available to just anyone on the internet.
Obviously I need to save for Himeko, and set aside time to physically choke and cry, but also I've wiffed on legit the last FIVE 5* girls, so...  yeah, I have a lot of savin' to do.

Alright I'm actually not gonna lie- I actually really like MiHoYo designs, and all the naysayers can get fucked.
No no no- my argument is that two years ago is when the tools became big and well understood by the average internet user.  Prior to that AI image generation goes as far back as 2012 or earlier.  GAN for instance is from 2016.
I'm not saying Ryza is guilty of AI design, I'm just saying it's getting worse as time goes on.
It's true that I wasn't playing it for three months, but even prior to that when I had gone back to logging in daily I wiffed on, like Chirori, Clorinde, Sigewinne, and the Eula, Kokomi, and Dehya reruns.

Oh for sure, considering he founded the Black Shores to study the Lament and all that, but we don't the impact he had else where yet. I just don't expect to keep running into people who can find ways to live a few centuries, but guess we'll see.
Quite a bit from what I've seen and read. Chixia's personality changed. She seemed to be more serious and decides to point a gun to Rover's head after she jobbed to the Crownless. It seems the general world had a distrust of Rover, except for Yangyang, until you start helping them. Lingyang's old character kill steals from you and gets the praise.

You only get one of the two.

Anytime games or other media say that shit it's always ambiguous but I assume it's like an extra decade or such. An extra century would be worth mentioning. I know Changli is a bit in age but I think she's another special case. Not really sure what's going on with Camellya but she keeps spending time in magical medical pods so maybe that's part of it. Though from what I've seen, spoilers upcoming, she seems to have been some science experiment meant to take out Rover, as told in her intimacy stories. And yeah the actual timeline seems to just be thrown in the air atm.
It was pretty bad apparently, which is why they did the 180 and now everyone loves Rover instead. Yangyang was on the death bed so I can see Chixia being a bit frustrated, but still seems pretty inane to point a gun at someone who just saved everyone's lives even if you don't know him and he just sort of appeared. But now we have a genki, and a little dumb, Chixia so it's all for the better.
