In “COUSINS”, Ye revisits his past, consisting of incest between him and a cousin of his, claims of his potential homosexuality and his drug addictions. The song was initially released as a music video on Ye’s 𝕏 (fka Twitter) on April 21, accompanying a confession where he writes:
This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t “look at dirty magazines together” anymore
