My choice: Julius Caesar
Reasons:
> stepped across the Rubicon, which is still remembered to-date
> plays were written about his life and death, immortalizing him in the eyes of humanity
> headed the world's greatest empire at the time
> it took 23 stab wounds just to kill him

Conquered effectively all of the known world and lost little to no battles 
Also well known for spreading greek culture across the east all the way to parts of india
Shame he died so young but that motherfucker was glorious while he had breath in his lungs

Also this was kinda a difficult choice since were essentially just going for glory, if you asked which historical figure would you want to be and what would you do differently that might make for a more interesting thread

Id choose Muhammad so I can get my followers to join me in a ritual pact suicide or whatever before I even conquer the arabian peninsula
