I should get my hands on this book. Always in the back of my mind.

Can't say I ever played the games though, D&D wasn't that big when I was growing up. Funny story though my parents bought me a rulebook for whatever reason and I used it to help myself to read out loud with it.

I always thought these were tabletop deals, but like warhammer got some games. I don't recall any of them being noteworthy and to clear it up BattleTech is the entirety of the series and MechWarrior is some of the games in the franchise. It's kind of like lutherans, catholics, and the orthodoxy are christians (battletech) but only lutherans anre lutherans (mechwarrior).

Also that Battletech image your see up there is a rulebook for japan made in the 80s with different and more Japanese-ish images for the mechs.

Now that I think about it there is that Metal Warrior or Metal Wolf game or something came out with that giant control pad in the mid 00s, but not only do I forget the name I forget if it's tied to the series.

It's a fun novelty and would be really fucking good if the devs weren't cartoonishly greedy and incompetent. Runs like ass, shitty balance, and awful graphics.

I still put 100+ hours into it but don't get your hopes up.
