On Sunday, I spent close to an hour talking with two guys about Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. I, of course, was being reasonable, and those two were just laughing and looking up memes about morrowind players (neither of them have played morrowind because they're zoomzooms)

I can't imagine your knowledge of Morrowind stemming from the shitty dagoth ur AI voice videos from a few years ago, but thats apparently the modern perception the normans have.

Don't worry, I've got a friend that's 30yo and he's saying the same thing because he loves being dumb (he didn't even play the game).
It doesn't matter, people will either play the game or not but I wouldn't push it onto them, I know what I like and my taste diverged from mainstream long ago.

The same guy is kind of the stereotypical gamer chud, basically every day I'm around him he'll say something that I clearly understand is a dogwhistle for a racist or sexist joke, it's all good in the hood, he won't be around next year.

BGC has many different factions, they're kind of like great houses, you can only join one. You've got the hecking tranners who are of course allied with the neurodivergent autismals, the normcore (they show up just to play shitty d&d 5e games), the gaming racists and then there's me, on my own, just a normal guy in a fricked up world trying to survive. And trying to play Tyrants of the Underdark, the best board game ever made I liked it so much I bought my own copy.

Definitely. It goes both ways though. King Autismal is absolutely fucking tone deaf when it comes to BGC Sundays, they rule like a tyrant, and if someone asks, politely, for some change, he's liable to do a 180 just because he hates people telling him what to do, but will hypocritically tell people what to do all the time (see: name-badge incident).
Another example would be, me saying something to the effect of "Oh, I hope THE JESTER isn't in this game because I don't think it's a fun character". King heard that, and then after the game ended (due to the Jester being executed), he specifically said he put it in because of what I said, and that he doesn't want people to 'meta' that he won't put in unfun characters. Kino.

(Translator's note: The jester is used as an example that we all know from Town of Salem, its not actually Town of Salem)

Lmao, yea it's half finished, it was maybe like that 5-6 years ago, now that the landmass that's completed rivals (or probably even overshadows) the mainland I don't think you can call it half finished, at best in progress.

I should finish the quick-cut (and audio) code in my software so I can edit the bubs toks fast. That would probably be pretty nice since I am always way too lazy to do it by hand.
