I've spent the last week or so thinking a lot about the things I want to do in life and some of the most fun I've had is playing d&d or d&d like systems with friends, so really want I want to do is get back into having that regularly. Life took a spiral as I grew up and the weekly d&d games turned into fortnightly, then once every three weeks, then eventually maybe we play once every month on a different day of the week, at a random time, just when everyone could make it. I blame retail worker timeshifts, but y'know.

I've got some ideas for stuff I've wanted to run for a while, might as well get around to making stuff for it. I enjoyed doing maps and stats and making plans. As far as hobbies go that was my most fulfilling. Playing vidya? Mostly just a way to kill time.

I've been to a few professional fireworks displays in my life and don't remember anything about them. They're kind of pointless. Do you remember any fireworks in your life? I doubt it. It's not like a painting, where you admit the composition and the colours, fireworks are just big colour bangs with associated explosion noises, gone and forgotten in seconds until the next one whizzes up.

Zomg, what was your favourite one? I liked the one that went BOOOOOM and it was like a red circle.
