LATEST NEWS

Repost from /news/.
Things aren't looking good for a lot of people

Interviews and first-hand accounts from sailors stranded in the Persian Gulf — under threat of drone attacks, missiles, and exploding boats — reveal an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis unfolding.

Iran's blockade of one of the world's most critical shipping lanes, the Strait of Hormuz, has unleashed pain on global markets.

The normally busy strait has been mostly empty since the start of the war. But inside the Persian Gulf, some 2,000 ships remain.

And while the US-Israel war with Iran rages on, the crews on those stranded ships are facing their own battle of attrition.

 >>/104538/
A shaky ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran has brought “a careful sense of hope” for the crew, but there is still no clear end to the war. “Day to day, we try to keep things normal with open conversations and small team activities that help lift everyone’s spirits.”
The crew sighted drones and missile interceptions several times, both near the ship and along the horizon during their watches. “Those moments were difficult and created real tension for the crew,” Dhar told The Associated Press.

“None of us expected the warlike situation,” he said, noting that reliable internet has helped them stay in touch with families. “Those calls and messages really keep us grounded and give us strength.”

 >>/104539/
Shortages of global seafarers may worsen

The International Maritime Organization and others have called for a safe corridor for commercial vessels in the strait. Most ships are still unable to pass through.
Iran has said the strait is open to vessels it does not consider hostile and has demanded tolls for passage. Reports also alleged mines were placed in the waterway, and Trump said the U.S. was clearing
them and would “shoot and kill” boats laying mines.

Under heightened risks of mines and attacks, “there is no safe transit anywhere in the Strait of Hormuz,” said IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez.

Multiple crises in recent years — including COVID-19, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and attacks in the Red Sea — have already left many seafarers stranded at sea. Shipping executives warn the situation could worsen global crew shortages.

Thanks for the info, Spain anon. You might not see this over seas, but in the USA even in red states, people are putting this sticker sideways at pumps next to gas prices. "Short term pain for long term gain" repeated scripted phrase across news media, courtesy of fucking Israel.

Oil in everyday things

How the Iran war is driving up the cost of your shopping cart

---------------
A surge in energy prices caused by the Iran war is rippling through global supply chains for common consumer goods, making materials like chemicals and plastics more expensive and pushing up manufacturing and transportation costs.

 >>/104754/
The European price of PET plastic used in soda bottles and other food packaging was 15.4% higher in mid-March than a year earlier, according to data from industry publication Plastics Information Europe (PIE). In North America polyethylene was about 29% higher year-on-year in March, according to estimates from Baird.

 >>/104475/
Hmmmkay so the Iran war has cost the USA up to $113.3 billion since it started, like 1 month ago. I'm not making those numbers up. You can search for it online

Soooo what's like the end goal of all of this? Even if the US wins, it would be a Pyrrhic victory at most. Things won't end well if this pointless war continues. For everyone involved I believe

The current NDAA (Section 219/224) creates a dedicated Pentagon executive agent whose entire job is to force deeper, faster integration of US-Israeli defense tech, R&D, industrial base, joint capabilities, training, and data sharing. No other "ally" gets this.

On the operational side, IDF Chief of Staff Zamir and CENTCOM Joint Chiefs are running near-weekly channels, special envoy liaisons in each others' structures, combined planning against Iran. Not a single army under one chief via middleman. Just the deepest institutional and operational fusion short of that.

SERIOUS INTELLIGENCE ON THE BOMBING CAMPAIGN AGAINST IRAN STARTING THIS WEEKEND AND LASTING FOR TWO WEEKS!!!

On Friday evening, receiving numerous contacts from former colleagues in the Intel Community were telling me some very serious and bad news.

According to SIX separate Intelligence Sources, each in a different area of Intelligence spread between FOUR separate Agencies:

1) President Donald Trump has authorized "far more serious and very far worse strikes upon Iran, beginning THIS WEEKEND. The nature of the strikes will, ALLEGEDLY, "leave the regime of the Islamic Republic with no choice but to surrender."

2) Trump made this decision based on nearly unanimous Intelligence conclusions saying "The IRGC holds complete control over decision-making in Iran. It is in THEIR interests that the conflict drag on because they know the USA is low on precision-strike weapons, the ZOG People are overwhelmingly angry at this war which will harm Trump in the Mid-Term Elections, the fuel supplies in the West are dwindling to dangerously low levels, and dragging-on the conflict will result in severe economic destruction, globally."

3) Waves of air-refueling tankers have been taking-off from Middle East locations since about 2:00 PM eastern US time. They have been taking off in Waves of four tankers every ten minutes. Do the math.

4) At 6:30 PM EDT this evening, Iran -- seeing the massive refueling capacity already in the air with more coming, and realizing the United States and Israel are planning what would be one of the harshest bombing campaigns to date against energy infrastructure targets in Iran -- issued a statement saying Iran will strike Israel's critical infrastructure and U.S. energy facilities across the region if it is attacked.

5) Iran pointed out that It has already wiped-out HALF of Kuwait's Desalination plants, leaving only four (4) remaining plants. The destruction of the remaining four plants would make Kuwait uninhabitable.

6) "Trump is planning a CATASTROPHIC attack on Iranian energy facilities to force a surrender. The U.S. is preparing a 2 week bombing plan to DESTROY Iran’s electricity to force favorable peace terms."

lol they're probably going to do what they did during the Siege of Vienna

They were on the Ottomans when the war started. When they started losing, they switched to the Austrian side. Austrians got Hungary and that's how Austro-Hungarian Empire got started.

I can imagine something similar would happen in the future. As always, they'll crawl into the lap of whoever is winning at the time.

I'm going to go even further from that anon you responded to and state more of the obvious. Losing the war at the end, they had to go out at the Führerbunker via suicide to prevent Antifa from reaching them. The bastards tortured and killed Mussolini (who, even according to historical accounts, did nothing wrong). They did not want the same fate. Hitler would have lost nothing more if he actually did exterminate jews. We here all know he did not. However, his reputation was still stained for all time by their lies. For over 81 years, the general population is still so fucking stupid that most of them believe in the fake jewish holocaust. I'm not talking about just kikes. I mean the average people, by and large, non-jews, gullible as shit for 8 decades.

The greatest mistake Hitler ever made was not mass exterminating jews

Three violating tankers transiting unauthorized route explode in Hormuz: IRGC
October 29, 2026

"...The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says three offending oil tankers, which were passing through the unauthorized route south of the Strait of Hormuz, struck mines, triggering explosions and fires.

In a statement on Thursday, the public relations office of the IRGC Navy said the vessels were subsequently abandoned off the southern coast of the strategic waterway, which has remained under Iran’s control over the past eight months.

"The oil tankers had switched off all their radar and navigation systems and were attempting to leave via an unauthorized route south of the Strait of Hormuz, ignoring warnings from the IRGC Navy, when they hit naval mines and exploded", it added.

The IRGC Navy also warned that unauthorized routes in the Strait are mined and that vessel owners and crews are responsible for using those paths.

It further noted that vessel owners and crews should not be misled by the United States Central Command's (CENTCOM) claims on social media about the Strait of Hormuz.

"The facts on the ground will determine the outcome. Any provocative action, supported by the terrorist and invading US military’s act of mischief, that disregards the regulations governing the Strait will be met with a resolute response", it cautioned..."

IRGC Navy captures, lands US spy drone intact in Strait of Hormuz
October 29, 2026

"...The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy says its electronic warfare unit has seized an ZOG MQM-170 spy and deception drone and landed it intact in the western Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement on Thursday, the IRGC Navy's public relations office said its electronic warfare fighters had successfully carried out an offensive electronic warfare operation, identifying the drone before taking control of its guidance and control systems.

The IRGC Navy successfully brought the drone to the ground intact, it added.
The statement said the drone’s mission was to identify Iran’s air defense systems along the Persian Gulf coastline and the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the IRGC Navy, data retrieved from the aircraft indicated that it had taken off from the coast of one of the southern Persian Gulf littoral states..."

Leader orders Armed Forces to deliver 'geographically unrestricted response' to enemy threats
October 31, 2026

"...Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered senior military commanders to ensure that any level or type of enemy threat is met with an "immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted response".

During a meeting with senior commanders of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that "intelligent combat readiness for a powerful confrontation with enemies is a fundamental prerequisite for achieving maximum deterrence".

He stated that should Iran’s enemies resume military or terrorist attacks, "it will be the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that will determine when and under what conditions those attacks will end".

The Commander-in-Chief also underscored the need to "strengthen military intelligence architecture", deepen indigenous defense capabilities in both “doctrine” and "tactics" and "enhance modernized defense and security capacities through the utilization of emerging technologies".

He further highlighted the importance of "strengthening spiritual foundations and the spirit of jihad", alongside "unremitting efforts to meet the livelihood needs of Armed Forces personnel and provide them with the necessary support".

In another directive, the Leader ordered the "comprehensive updating of the military target database" to ensure that "all physical and non-physical assets of the US-Zionist enemy are brought within the reach of the Armed Forces".

He described nationwide support for the Armed Forces as "one of the pillars of deterrence against anti-Iranian foreign powers and their domestic mercenaries".

Referring to the eight-month presence of people in public squares across Iran, the Leader said it was "a continuation of the Eight-Year Sacred Defense", which, alongside the steadfastness of military, police and Basij forces, "has protected, and will continue to protect, the territorial integrity of Iran and the Islamic system".

Ayatollah Khamenei also expressed his appreciation for "the intelligent steadfastness of the Resistance Front in various countries", describing the "unity of operational domains" as "a decisive factor with a strategic impact on shaping the new political and security order in West Asia"..."
