It's the story of a lifetime. A North American President gets arrested (a lot of times) and tries to make money off it

Not two hours after former President Donald Trump left the Fulton County, Georgia, jail, his joint fundraising committee was already selling merchandise featuring his booking photo.

The former president left the Fulton County Jail at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, and for the first time in his four indictments on felony charges, authorities took — and released — Trump's mug shot. By 9:22 p.m., the Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee was selling T-shirts, mugs, beverage coolers, bumper stickers and other merchandise with Trump's face and the words "never surrender."

The mug shot products range from $12 for a bumper sticker to $36 for long-sleeve T-shirts.

The former president is also fundraising off his latest surrender. In a fundraising email, Trump said he "walked into the lion's den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA."

Trump enjoys $7M bonanza off mug shot, Fulton County arrest

Former President Donald Trump’s mug shot and booking at the Fulton County Jail helped drive a $7.1 million fundraising bonanza, a source confirmed to The Post.

The Trump campaign wasted no time capitalizing off the unprecedented mug shot featuring former president scowling into the camera. It sold merchandize and stressed that he will “never surrender” as the picture quickly went viral.

Merchandize emblazoned with his historic mug shot includes shirts, bumper stickers, and more that went for between $12 and $34.

On Friday alone, the campaign pulled in $4.18 million, marking its most lucrative day so far. Politico was the first to report on the record-breaking haul.

That news article spelled "Merchandise" wrong

Anyway

Apparently he also violated US law selling his mugshot online. Because I don't know

Trump may have violated copyright law by selling mugshot merchandise

Donald Trump’s campaign may have violated United States copyright law by selling merchandise featuring the former president’s mugshot, legal experts have warned.

The Republican front-runner’s campaign wasted no time capitalizing off the mugshot made of him at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, featuring the former president scowling into the camera.

Merchandise emblazoned with the historic photo and the slogan “Never surrender” was quickly hawked for between $12 and $34.

Within just three days, the Trump campaign made $7.1 million off the merch, which included T-shirts, mugs, koozies and bumper stickers.

But legal scholars say that money may rightfully belong to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, which took the photo, as US copyright law stipulates that the law enforcement agency that takes a mugshot is the legal owner of it.

“In the context of photographs taken by law enforcement during the booking process, the author of the mugshot photograph is the law enforcement agency,” the 2022 University of Georgia School of Law’s Journal of Intellectual Property Law states.

As such, Betsy Rosenblatt, a professor at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law, says there are limitations to what people may do with such photographs.
 >>/91154/
“You’re prohibited from using it for a number of things without authorization,” she told Spectrum News 1 Ohio.

“You’re prohibited from reproducing it, making a derivative work of it, distributing it without authorization, or that is to say distributing anything that isn’t the one copy you already lawfully have, and various other things. Making a public display of it, making a public performance of it, which opens up all kinds of fascinating possibilities here.”

The Trump campaign did not make any alterations to the mugshot, so he cannot claim that he substantially altered it from its original in a way to create something new, MSNBC’s Dean Obeidallah said.

Since the campaign is profiting off the image, it also cannot claim fair use, Obeidallah added.

The Trump campaign appeared to be aware of the potential legal violation, since Chris LaCivita, one of Trump’s top advisers, tweeted on Aug. 24: “If you are a campaign, PAC, scammer and you [are] try raising money off the mugshot of @realDonaldTrump and you have not received prior permission …WE ARE COMING AFTER YOU you will NOT SCAM DONORS.”

WHY IS TRUMP ALWAYS TALKING IN CAPS LOCK? HOLY SHIT

They're forgetting one major fact. Abolition of the jewish ran Trans Atlantic slave trade never really happened. Prisoners' rights are gone. They are the slaves. Though let us not forget. Trump is a quarter jew and he's always been a slave to ZOG.

Not just royalty. Many traitors would breed with kikes to produce the modern rats. But yes, the Khazar "theory" while frequently shot down (mostly by jews) is correct. Now they can claim they're white while their jewish genes leads them strongly towards promoting - Zionism, anti-Hitlerism, anti-Christianity, anti-National Socialism, pro all races but them interbreeding even though they're already mixed mutts, and all forms of degeneracy. There's no convincing them of the error of their ways. The poison is in their blood.

Ty fren, this board is 1000x better than 4cuck. I remember how disappointed I was when I realized how Jewed it already was by the time I first got on there. This place _actually has based mods that remove JIDF and /b/-trash degeneracy,_ thank God. (I mean it, thank the Lord! Amen!)
Libertarians think that they should give up defending freedom because Americans hate liberty, but Libertarians should keep resisting tyranny for selfish reasons.

While the elites control the money, government, and media, the 99% have the numbers.

One Libertarian may not be able to resist being sent to the concentration camps, but one million people might.
I'm presuming this is the dedicated Trump thread now.

Trump was replaced by Biden for this current term because key individuals involved in the inner workings of the United States of America's political system are aware that he is a much more competent leader for global politics. However, public opinion and the political climate in the US is a source of discord among the populace. Unfortunately, this was a result of the former pendulum illusion the US politicians used to give their citizens a pseudo-sense of democracy.

A powerful country needs a powerful leader. Majority of people that would have opposed him during the last election prefer him over Biden.

I propose the idea that Biden was intentionally chosen to unify the American populace under a single leader with willpower and good quality political negotiation skills. Biden is incompetent for his role.

A dying AIDS monkey would be more competent than that great grandfather Methuselah suffering from dementia.
> Biden is incompetent for his role.
He is, though Trump was chosen before him for the same reasons Biden was picked. Not only "Israel first" (same as sleepy Joe), the orange quarter jew didn't know what he was doing in office and documents had to repeat his name in a positive light to hold his attention. No jewish con-man is a good President. The powers that be don't want anyone who can't be easily manipulated. They both can.
Everything is illegal, everyone is a criminal, everyone is under surveillance 24/7, and no one cares.

Living in a police state means that you must live in dread of being arrested. You can't help feeling hopeless.
