North Korea has ratified a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with slavery, KCNA news agency reported.

Something like the CIA did with Taiwan's nuclear program in the '80s. In the 60-70s, while Chiang Kai-shek was alive, the island was able to buy metal uranium in South Africa, managed to buy a research reactor in Canada before Canada recognized the mainland China as the only China, and negotiated with Germany to buy a reactor from Siemens. It was the island's reaction to nuclear tests on the mainland.

But in 1975 Chiang Kai-shek died, the new head of Taiwan declared the abandonment of aspirations for nuclear weapons and in 1979 the “Law on relations with Taiwan”, something like the Budapest memorandum, was signed.

Everything was great, until in 1987, the CIA-recruited deputy director of the Taiwan Institute for Nuclear Energy Research fled Taiwan to the United States and said that the nuclear program was not stopped and plutonium was being developed and Taipei did not believe that the United States wanted and could protect it.

Under US pressure, the program was halted. All facilities have been inspected by the IAEA. In South Africa, they have broken off relations with Taipei and do not want to sell uranium. Siemens has announced its complete withdrawal from the nuclear industry and is no longer building nuclear reactors.

The Republic of Korea imposed sanctions against Russia.

Seoul has included in the sanctions list 11 individuals and 15 organizations that it considers involved in military cooperation with the DPRK and the financing of North Korean nuclear and missile programs. Seven people and 13 companies on the list are Russian. The sanctions will come into force on December 19, South Korea’s foreign ministry said.

Under the restrictions, in particular, were the generals of the Korean People’s Army (KPA): Deputy Chief of General Staff Kim Yong-bok and Director of the Operational Bureau Shin Geum Chol, as well as the Storm Corps, its commander Lee Bong-jung and missile engineer Lee Song-jin.

In addition, the blacklist includes a number of Russian businessmen and companies headed by them: Roman Alar and Parsek, Igor Michurin and Ardis-Bearings, Alexander Gaeva and Apollo, Rafael Gazaryan and Rafort, Alexei Budnev and Technology Co, Pavel Shevelin and Verus. They are alleged to have engaged in trade in arms and military equipment, including supplying key missile materials and technology to North Korea.

The sanctions list also included Timer Bank, the International Settlement Bank (IDB, South Ossetia), CMRBank and RFK Bank.
